[@Thecrash20] The point of having dragons be small is so interaction can be actually relevant. If dragons are too big, then they'd have a hard time actually communicating with dragons in their calmed state. They'd also be wrecking the hell out of anything on Athea. It's sort of a balance of power. It'll be much better if they're smaller and actually have something to fear other than crushing/nomming something with one swoop.

Dragons can be the size of a transit bus, to reach middle ground. Wyverns are half that size.
