Sincerely, I think we should leave a bigger time window between the upcoming battle at Xerxes and the next "big event", whatever that is. Idk how much time it has been since the hordes thing and the Phantasmagoria, in general, I'm working with 30-40 years at most.

I mean, everyone has the right to play as they want, but I'm for sure going to start to add a bigger time gap in my civ building stories to better work with the spread of stuff like Metal Making, Farming, etc... Actually, I think it still doesn't make much sense even if I do that.

Damn Vowzra, look at the mess you have begun.

Collabs are fun, but the fun overflows when the schedules don't overlap too well.

@Double Capybara I agree that we need a nice window of time to let civilisation catch up a little. Most of the world is still in the Stone Age, although I have some work to do with Gerrik to help fix that. But a century or two of free time would be needed.

Since time is so malleable, what say we leave the next major cataclysm to a definite technological point instead? Say, the iron age, or whenever shipping grows advanced enough to put all these civilisations into contact.

How "jumpy" with this jump be? The Ionia Conflict is an in the moment type thing until the Xerxes battle is over, and a little bit after that.

@Kho Yeah, I was just wondering because it was within my plans to have him return on Christmass, and seeing as I haven't been productive at all for a long time, I want to make up for lost time. There's that collab with Cyclone that ties in with your mega-collab that has been put on hold until you guys are finished, and then there's that one post I've been working on but haven't come around to finishing due to studying etc.

I hope to have finished the dragon post by the end of the weekend, though, as It's almost done and it will be a shame if it doesn't get posted. Mind you, though, I'm rusty as fuck. Not that my posts were good previously, but yeah...

@LokiLeo789 It is not a jump. So far, most of the players are kinda guiding the timeline of their posts by these big global events, like the Horde attack and the the Realta attack, what is in topic here is to just give more breathing space between these events so people who RP civs have the proper time frame to justify certain things as right now, it has been only a few decades between the Phantasmagoria, which helped to kickstart culture, and the current Realta attack. In general, this has led, in my opinion, to an overuse of characters who are just savvy as hell and talk like civ players planning a tech run (at least in my posts) and rough explosions of discoveries instead of a more natural growth that would be justifiable if we could have that century-wide timeframe more easily.

@Double Capybara Having somewhat developed the Eskandars on Arcon, and given my experience with the current development of the Horse People, I can say that it sure does help to be able to skip a few hundred years where necessary with when it comes to playing out the growth of nations.

Edit: The strength of a god RP: it's every kind of RP you want it to be. Which can make it difficult if one player is going at the nation RP elements while others are going for the character RP elements. But I'm sure we'll manage

You totally want a Keriss dakimakura, it comes at the low price of your soul 10 shillings!

Funnily enough, it's probably easier to find a dakimakura of a muscular scaly female than it would be for an under-aged girl made from metal.

No way. The closest I'll ever get to a lizard woman is Granberia.

Why a lizard woman would have breasts, I will never know.
