[H2][center]Chen Chideta[/center][/h2]

Fei had taken the battlefield after recovering and after several social stumbles from Jessi they were on track and killing soldiers left and right.  Chen had just finished freezing several soldiers in place when the Knight had killed the Elf Prince and forced the remaining elves to flee. Lady Signal had done amazing work with Fei, she wasn't suffering any aftereffects from that poison whatsoever. If only the healing process was less... scandalous.

Actually it seemed as if she was suffering some after effects. Her face kept getting red whenever she looked at Jessi, must be some increased pheromone production from Lady Si's saliva. Didn't seem to happen when she looked at him. That's good, he didn't need or want to be in a love triangle right now. Too many emotions, too little logic, too much effort.

The battle was finally winding down and Chen went to go retrieve the Relic from the Elf Prince's corpse and saw the Knight reaching for the Relic in what seemed like slow motion. He quickly began pumping energy into his own Relic and felt magic begin to surge through him as he was filled ancient power. The usual twin whip blades formed in his hands and he struck out at his hand to stop him. Luckily Jessi was two steps ahead of him as he pinned the Tegonay's hand to the ground with a spear. Efficient.

Jessi threw the Relic towards Fei and Chen tracked it carefully to make sure nobody could intercept, didn't want ancient almighty power in the hands of some lame grunt. Sure it worked out with him, no guarantees for others though.

Fei caught it easily and Chen let out a sigh of relief he didn't realize he had been holding. Fei lit a fire around them and almost set Chen on fire as he was very close to said fire. [Color=springgreen]"Try and be a bit careful about others! You have other allies besides your obvious love interest."[/color] He muttered the last sentence under his breath as he brushed some ash off his sleeves.

Chen walked towards Fei and felt a small aura of confidence. Must be how the Elf Prince was able to command so efficiently. He then looked at Tegonay with his bright green eyes. [Color=springgreen]"Stand down now. You are surrounded, outnumbered, and cannot escape."[/color]
