Brooks closed his eyes and sighed as it was clear the battle had come to a close. [color=0072bc]"So it ends..."[/color] He said quietly to himself as Noivern landed right beside him. [color=0072bc]"Another job well done, partner. Here..."[/color] He said, tossing an Oran Berry into the open mouth of the Dragon Type. He looked across the battered battlefield as Devon knelt beside his fallen Pokemon. With a smirk he strolled across the battlefield.

[color=0072bc]"You didn't do half bad, that's the first battle in a while that I had fun with. Kind of reminded me of when I was still traveling around Viore collecting Gym Badges."[/color] He said, taking a small glass bottle with some kind of plant inside into his hand. [color=0072bc]"Here, this'll get her all patched up. It's a Revival Herb. I know you wouldn't want to stay long considering the journey you all have ahead of you."[/color] He said, tossing the herb to Devon.

He turned to his Noivern and began to walk away. [color=0072bc]"Now I've got someplace to be, but maybe we'll see each other again. If we do, I'll give you a real battle to see if you've gotten any better."[/color] He said with a clear grin on his face. He climbed up on his Pokemon's back, giving a slight wave, before the Dragon Type shot into the sky. [i][color=0072bc]"That group of kids... there's more to them than meets the eye..."[/color][/i] Brooks thought as he and Noivern faded into the distance.

With the clash concluded, Brent and Lily rushed out onto the battlefield to Devon's side. [color=39b54a]"Wow, that was amazing! You were amazing! And to see Cyan evolve like that!"[/color] Said Lily. [color=f7941d]"I think she's impressed. But that was pretty awesome."[/color] Said Brent, rolling his eyes a bit. As Brooks took his leave, the trainers waved farewell as the veteran trainer departed.

[color=39b54a]"Brooks was really amazing too! I wonder if he could beat mom..."[/color] Lily pondered. Brent looked around at the devastation around them. [color=f7941d]"I sure hope we don't have to pay for this..."[/color] He said, half jokingly.
