Haven't caught up on all the posts yet but I feel the extreme need to agree with ya there Pyro. I started playing the 'mons a little later than most kids at my school but chi char was my very first Pokemon ever and is still my favourite line to this day.

[hider=Also here a lil' funny story about Pokemon from my childhood] At my elementary school Pokemon (the card game) was all the rage and almost everyone had played it at somepoint during recess but my parents wouldn't buy me any for one reason or another so instead my mom suggested I make my own so I did.

The first day I show up with my custom Pokemon card (that I spent what had felt like an hour when in reality was probably only about ten minutes) no one would play Pokemon with. That being said though there is defiantly the chance that my Pokemon was really overpowered.

Oh also, another funny thing, Pokemon ended up getting banned eventually because kids would steal cards from each other or con them out of their cards for really shite ones (I think there may have been a mafia type gang of 'em). I'm also now realizing that sounds just like team rocket.[/hider]
