[@ScreenAcne][color=mediumslateblue]I like the idea of a big project having been done in the past. We could leave it at that, or even tie that project into the overall plot.

Bot and Gaius (or at least his family business) would likely have acquaintance in the field and work together on more than one occasion. Especially that Bot can provide materials and menial workers to the Findley family. So that sounds good to me.

As for the big project, it could be some sort of defense system that was never finished for some reason (perhaps something to do with Mask). And the defense system could turn out to be a weapon instead, never really intended to defend anyone; the ruse would of been to ensure they were all willing to work on the project.
