If anything, she wanted to grab Daphne, and somehow invent teleporting to get them out of there. She bit her lip, hard enough that it started to bleed, ever so slightly. The pain brought some focus to her mind, but even in the war, she had never quite been in a situation like this. The other turncoat on the ship, her dear friend, was being used as a hostage. She couldn't help but congratulate herself on never falling in love with an Alliance captain, otherwise Anisa might have had two hostages that day, instead of just one. No, Anisa won't kill Camilla, Dorothy reassured herself. The Captain was her best friend. And her best friend wasn't a murderer. She wouldn't kill Camilla in cold blood. But if Camilla's death protected Daphne...No, that was senseless. If Camilla died, it would be all the more reason for the Alliance to destroy them all. They needed Camilla alive. Without her, none of them had any chance of making it. At Daphne's exclamation, Dorothy's heart stopped for a moment. She had no clue what was going on, but she knew the voice of her sister. Fortunately, after her paranoid shock went away, she realized that it was bloody unlikely something happened to Daphne. It was probably just something awful on the horizon, whether that meant a need for new repairs, or that the Alliance was unwilling to negotiate. Dorothy took a deep breath, standing at the ready. It was all she could do to protect her baby sister.
