So far things could have gone worse, though Alex was getting the sense that he was hardly the picture of innocence for Zealot. Not that that was really a surprise given how rapidly he showed up after Alex himself had returned home. Without immediate aggression though he was willing to consider with this avenue of approach. They'd probably want to find some evidence that the Relic was in this actual place, rather than a general area, first. Well, if he was wrong then this would hurt. But for now he'd continue with his plan as he came to a stop as well, though he did shift slightly nearer to the escape route that he had installed in his place a while ago. Everyone needed a bolt hole, especially if that everyone was a certain thief of ill repute in the Imperium. "Of course I am," he confirmed with a nod. Not that he cared much for the rules in the first place, as his self professed occupation could attest to. "I don't even know what a Legendary Relic looks like, much less me having on in the first place. Though if the Imperium is planning to get my luggage back I'd certainly be willing to take a look around." Admittedly, that was pretty unlikely considering his luggage was at the bottom of Aquaria somewhere. But it wasn't like Zealot would know that either, so he didn't feel bad in asking. At the very least it would buy him some time, which he could use to scrub his own tracks a bit and make it harder for Zealot to find him the next time. For now, h waited to see how Zealot would react to that, and what sort of lie he would have to spin next.
