Question; is the magic just a law (meaning you can break it) or actually a no-magic field?

I can't think of a way to get Amber into the action. Having her break the law by following that fresh trail of blood into the city, still flying and stuff is the only option unless I keep waiting for either new characters doing stuff outside, or these characters to leave.

Yep, nephilim increases lifespan. There is no set age as there hasn't been a nephilim to die a natural death. The oldest currently would be roughly 500 and acts as a librarian for the Institute.

Annnnd yes, the pillars ward the city against magic. Built by Raziel in the cities making.

Shertul can't enter at all: his whole body is magic. I plan on him attempting to enter Wellborough and just being racked with pain, because he's practically made of magic at this point.

my post is alright i guess. its much better than the last rendition, but i'm still not very happy with it. then again i'm never happy with my writing. its also not very large. quality over quantity, though.
