Does it matter? If its not a kid it might as well be an adult. Its anime after all.

Anime has Baby > Kid > Adult > Middle aged > Old as a growth cycle. Soul Eater and Naruto are the only ones I know of that actually do the Teenager thing like normal humans. xD
