Old Ben isn't particularly experienced in investigating things, so I'd prefer to partner with one of our more subtle operators. You can ask the questions, I'll kick in doors/heads and lookout for suspicious types.

Anyone want to work together? I'm happy to do a collaborative post on titanpad or do separate posts.

@Sovi3tEnemies will usually be presented by me, but that's the only type of minor NPC that you're not allowed to create on your own. If Victor is going to be asking questions of people pertaining to David or Thomas Grant, just post the rolls you made in here.

@Sovi3tPM the situation. Mind you, enemies will usually be presented by me, but that's the only type of minor NPC that you're not allowed to create on your own. If Victor is going to be asking questions of people pertaining to David or Thomas Grant, just post the rolls you made in here.


So, if we are investigating with some NPC's of our creation are we also making the rolls or are we PM-ing you? Just clear things up because I'm slow. :P OH also, you mentioned the penalty to question the state cops because of lack of badge. What if we, you know, we kinda like, had a fake one? (;

Okay cool. That should speed things up in any case (Grabs m'D20). Oh, also, could we mitigate the penalty of questioning the cops if we come bearing counterfeit creds and coppy persona? Being the only guy with disguise I better play to my strengths.

As long as said fake badge is listed in your equipment tab. To make amends for my incompetence, I am issuing each character without Federal jurisdiction a DHS badge with fake ID, before I commit seppuku.

It is implied that Ben and Victor were 'assigned' to look out for suspicious people entering or leaving. You may opt to follow the rest of the team into the apartment section of the building, follow an investigating character, or ask around the lobby for any leads. Det. Albright is the one with most of the information pertaining to the specifics of the case, which isn't much.

Any strengths you may have, you may play to. As per my last post, folks without Federal jurisdiction are being issued DHS badges with fake ID.

@Sovi3tWe can collab so the conversation with Carla can be had. Transitions between Javier and Werner asking her questions, as well as her answering them will be smoother this way. PM me what you got so far, friend.

As pertaining to the score of 6, even with modifier, I'm adding to the rules on badge-flashing. A badge issued by any Federal Law Enforcement agency grants +2 on any persuade and interrogation rolls if it would make sense for the badge to have an impact. The Fake DHS badges grant +1.

In addition, if a character attempts to flash a badge while other characters with Federal jurisdiction are present, each character's roll gets +1 from each partner.

Also, you should check the big block of italics on the previous page to see what Dan is able to find on a successful awareness check when entering David's apartment.

Can everyone tell that this system hasn't been play-tested yet?
