[/quote] I've never liked that water rule, I think that was the myth so people would foolishly feel safe, although VTM gave backing to it by associating it with the great flood. But Anne Rice ignored like many others as running water is everywhere, taps, underground streams, rain. Getting anywhere would be a nightmare without a sewer plan. Never herd of a vampire melting in the rain tho... Witches on the other hand! Moving away from the water we have the same argument with holy symbols. Even the most badass vampires get burned but they just ignore it. If Nihilism is a defence to holy magic I'm learning science to ignore magic.
