I was lazy with the name, but it's marked "store" in the patient's quarters.

An official pharmacy will likely appear on the second floor, but the hospital rooms come equipped with basic medicine located in a medical kit. The kits will likely carry more specialized meds in the rooms of patients with more severe conditions.

That is not the only way to unlock new areas, but yes, it's fundamentally the same idea.
