So, the character is okay-no issue- but we're crossing a road here and you're going to have to decide what road to take.

I'm going to assume that she is immune to her own abilities, which is fine. You've stated she operates at 54F. Neato.

My issue is, at that temperature, her body is going go be [b]slow[/b]. Think of animals that can have body temperatures that low- reptiles for instance. They aren't active, and when they are it's in short bursts because they cant sustain it for longer periods of time.

It's a coin toss between being immune to her own powers and being slow as absolute shit when using them or not being immune with a little more speed. Your choice. Make that decision and she'll be just fine.
