Ella couldn't help but back away slightly as Olivie glared and stormed off. [color=hotpink]"Ehhh... Leisy, don't listen to her,"[/color] she said. Even though she didn't want to seem like she cared what the bruiser thought, there was something intimidating about her. The patchwork-clothed girl bit her lip, listening to the shopkeeper's wife, considering her comment. Was Olivie, like Ella's sisters, under pressure to live up to some kind of ideal?

She brightened up as the red-haired woman handed her the jar of gunk to borrow. [color=hotpink]"Ohh! Thanks!"[/color] she said, putting the jar in her bag. [color=hotpink]"And, uhh... I could try! But, umm..."[/color] She highly doubted she could beat Olivie in a fight. [color=hotpink]"Anyway! We'll be right on it!"[/color] With a forced smile, she said goodbye to the shopkeepers and followed Leisy.

[color=hotpink]"The beach might be our best bet,"[/color] she said, eyes scanning the town spread out below the wooden ramp. [color=hotpink]"I mean, I had a nightmare involving the sea..."[/color] She paused. [color=hotpink]"That's weird! I remember cold salt water, but nothing else."[/color] Shivering, she took another glance at their surroundings. [color=hotpink]"Let's try those caves by the sea. Then again, if a Pokemon's giving people these dreams, it could be trying to mislead them... We could follow the river upwards if we don't find anything."[/color]

Descending into the town, she thought over Leisy's other question. [color=hotpink]"Maybe, but... Let's not blame the ghosts just yet. After all, I read that a legendary Ghost type here gives people good dreams."[/color]

She shuddered again. If these Pokemon could undermine the efforts of a legendary, just how powerful were they?
