Name: Donny Yang Age: 18 Picture/description: Donny is a unassuming asian kid. Even as an 18 year old, you'd think he was just a teenager who just started growing his first whiskers. At least if you can get past his armor; unlike others who wear clothing, Donny has amassed himself an improvised suit of metal armor, to protect him from the Ghouls (What he calls the undead) and stray bullets. Not an inch of him is exposed, and he has perfected his armor so that it does not impede his movements too much. It does add an extra twenty pounds to his weight, but he's willing to bare it for the protection it gives him. His armor has it's own share of spikes and blades on it should he have no weapons or firearms, He also has a helmet in the form of a welding mask with a thick hood to keep his head covered. Physically he's strong enough to wear his armor everywhere and get around with it, and while he does look a bit on the pudgy side, he's surprisingly agile in his armor, capable of feats of acrobatics that would surprise anyone who thought he'd be a slow target. Personality: Donny is a pretty nice kid. He's pretty generous and willing to take risks if they aren't too great or the reward is worth it, but he's also willing to cut his loses and not to rely on gambles. He's gotten rather used to the crapsack world they live in and he just rolls with it's punches. He's a pragmatic first and foremost; if something can be used and abused for his benefit, it will be. He likes to think himself as a creative person, though it's more of a low cunning. Biography: Before the hell happened, Donny was just another kid living in North Carolina. It was pretty monotonous there, with his biggest highlights being "goes to karate three times a week" and "LARPs". It was the latter that brought most of his problems, since many would look down on him for being a nerd or feared him because he had a collection of weapons he used for LARPing, with the only reason he hasn't hurt anyone with them was because of the control he learned through his martial arts training. He grew up with a family of ten: His mom and dad, a brother, two sisters, two grand mothers and two grand fathers (The parents of his mom and dad). His family was pretty old school, and Donny didn't get along with his dad much; he always felt too strict for Donny's tastes, always disapproving of his life. At least his grandpas helped him in his hobbies; his grandfather was the one who introduced him to his martial arts class while his other grandfather thought him how to work with metal to make his own weapons and armor for his LARP group. How or what happened to them Donny doesn't talk about, but all that he is willing to say is that he's the only one left. Foils: Donny could be considered a violent person; he won't hesitate to stone a baby if it's making too much noise. All problems can be solved with the right application of force. He's also not what you'd call brave; he'll make it clear when he doesn't like something and when he doesn't like it, he's going to stay as far away from it as possible. The only time he'd be willing to face his fears is when he's armed enough to kill it quickly. And lastly, he's a bit of a nerd. it's mainly a problem because most of his knowledge is either about or comes from various stories from things he's read. Worse yet, he's not an american nerd, but more of an otaku, something that he admits with no shame. Because of his previous interest, he has a concept of what sort of "Story" they're in, which has it's own flaws and merits. He thinks this is all just a really immerse game, and while he takes his gaming seriously (He doesn't like losing), at the same time he can show an unhealthy about of apathy when certain events unfold. His detachment from reality has helped him cope with the more horrific aspects of this world, but it's that same detachment that allows him to do things no human should ever do in good conscience. Starting/ primary weapon: Each of his pockets has three folding knives: His left pocket has a switchblade, a half-serrated pocket knife, and a full serrated pocket knife. His Right pocket as a folding krambit knife, a hollow filler pocket knife, and a butterfly knife. His left cargo pocket as a half-serrated pocket knife and two folding knives sturdy enough for some minor hacking. In his right cargo pocket is a multitool with pliers, two screwdriver heads, a file, a small pair of scissors, and a small cutting edge, as well as another folding krambit knife with two blades and another pocket knife with a tanto blade design. His armor is also adorned with spikes, blades, and studs for unarmed combat should the need arise. He also carries a whetstone, both as a weapon and to sharpen his knives or any other piece of metal he can get his hands on. With that and some time, he can make just about anything have a cutting edge.
