While Avalanche may have appreciated the return wink Dinky sent his way, it was evident that now his high-spirits weren’t so lofty. Certainly, if his reaction was to be taken into account, he was not a happy camper to discover that two spooky mansions lay before the group. Surely it was only a choice of picking one and not the other, yes? As it turned out though, it looked like everyone had gone silent from this revelation. Probably too busy trying to put together a decision that would benefit the good of the group. So far it looked like only Avalanche and Miranda were paying attention to their mission. Well then, if they couldn’t make a choice themselves then their locations would do so for them. It was almost like the first mansion, the one to the far east, had a mind of its own because soon a flock of something dark and fast had manifested in the sky. Not only that, but it was heading right for the Chasers with no signs of stopping. Closer inspection would reveal the phenomenon to be a heavy flock of big, black bats.
