[@Mr Rage] I'd argue the heavy frames such as Ribasu should roll the Assualt Packs. Reasoning for me saying this is simple; The heavier frames should have heavier armor by nature, and thus able to take more of pounding than others. Toss in a couple extra shields on the assault packs, and you up that. Then, naturally, with the extra weapons we have onboard we would definitely draw attention as rather big threats. Get attention on us, should lighten up the load on the others who are trying to get close. Not to mention we could probably disable a few turrets.
[@Jasonhero] So assault packs should me made for focused carnage, not stuff that will rip the place in half, like your moon killer.
Moon Killer could actually prove to be useful here. I'm sure it'd be pretty hard for any reinforcements to help out if they're blown in half ^^. Not to mention, disabling the station's power systems has merit. Granted that could cause it to 'splode, but a well placed shot could make them just floating dead in space.
Anywho, I personally believe that the heavy frames should get the assault packs and do what we do best; fucking shit up. But I'll leave it to you guys. If most of you think assault packs should go to others, that works with me as well.
In the event I do get one of those sweet assault packs;
Provide additional maneuverability even with the heavier load, via small thrusters lining the back using a mono-propellent that does not ignite. Effective and harder to detect than heat based propellent.

Used for choosing the right weapon for the right target, acquires targets automatically and assists with aiming. (Truly a good idea. With gravity being able to provide helpful assists).

Shield generators designed to take the brunt of both energy and projectile attacks. Heavy protection for the unit, but only protects the unit which they are attached to.

A single, massive, EMP unit mounted on the frame's left shoulder. When fired, it sends a directed EMP pulse towards a target with the aim of shutting down the target's systems without killing it. Useful against frames, but can be charged for larger targets.

A large gatling gun with two firing modes; Close Quarters and Long Range. The weapon fires ballistic rounds at Close Quarters, and Plasma rounds at long range. Close Quarters, fires with less accuracy but at a much higher RoF. Meant to shred enemies who happen to get close to frame. Long-Range has a much more accurate firing mode, with a lighter RoF. The cannon is built for combat between frames, and packs a nice punch.

Grappling Hooks attached along the unit's exterior. Meant for manuvering assists among debris/asteroids. Could possibly be used to "throw" debris in space.
