With shaking legs, Ella stood up. Leisy was right. There was nothing either of them could do to help. Giving one more helpless glance towards the other two trainers, Ella pulled back with Leisy. [color=hotpink]"I'm sorry..."[/color] she choked out through her tight throat and dry mouth.

Why had she and Leisy gone looking for the culprit right away, without doing anything to prepare beforehand? Why hadn't she suggested a training session first, or asked around for more information? It seemed like such an obvious thing to do now that it was too late. As it was, all they'd managed to do was drag two other unprepared trainers into the creature's path, and get several Pokemon badly hurt.

First she'd let down Vivian, and now the residents of Stillwater... So much for helping people. Maybe she should have listened to her mother after all, and stuck with her cleaning job.

The only thing she and Leisy could do now was fix as much of the damage as possible. If the Malamar had done that to a Tentacruel, what had it done to the Inkay, to the Sewaddle, to Brighteye?
