[color=gray]“Agreed,”[/color] Leisy said, following behind Ella. [color=gray]“We’ll be heading back to town first — best of luck,”[/color] she said as she passed Olivie and the other trainer. Keeping pace with Ella, Leisy soon saw the roofs of Stillwater in the distance, and the two girls headed straight for the Pokemon Center. Depositing all her Pokeballs on the counter, Leisy waited agitatedly as the man who ran the Pokemon Center appeared. [color=gray]“We really need to get our Pokemon patched up,”[/color] she told him, indicating her Pokeballs. 

The man nodded, picking them up and depositing them in the machine behind him one by one. “So, what’d you young’uns run off and do, gettin’ all roughed up like so?” he asked, starting up the rather old-looking machine. 

[color=gray]“We met a wild Malamar — probably the one that’s causing all the nightmares around town,”[/color] Leisy explained, thanking the man as he handed all her Pokeballs back. Looking at the six red-topped capsules gathered in her arms, Leisy felt an overwhelming amount of responsibility for their helplessness against the Malamar. As a trainer, it was her job to provide the necessary training and determine the battles best fit for her Pokemon as to not get them hurt. On some level, she’d failed today, although she’d managed to get away relatively unscathed.
