Not wanting to get hit by rock crystals or licking flames, the Hoothoot flock scattered in a panic. Butch, trapped in the spinning water vortex, could not move, and was instead dizzied trying to orient itself.

The Comfey looked around nervously. Everything was coming apart around it.

Skorupi, freed from the wrath of tiny owls, leaped out of the bushes. "Skorupi, Poison Sting that guy!" Juana ordered. Skorupi's pincers lunged at the Comfey and struck.

The Fairy-type was badly exhausted at this point, but it wouldn't give up its playthings easily. It went for a Fairy Wind upon Skorupi, since it was the closest target. Skorupi scoffed and stung Comfey again.

Juana turned back. "Hey, Cillian, when your Mudkip bonked the dog over the head, Comfey lost control for a sec. Think that'll work again?"
