The Comfey wriggled about as Bounsweet and Skorupi ran over to the dazed Granbull, helping it back to the three trainers.

“Butch, here boy,” Juana said, clicking her tongue and beckoning the Granbull. Butch heard her familiar voice and bounded towards her barking as if nothing had happened.

Meanwhile, Corphish popped out of its ball, scuttled up to Archie, and yanked Comfey’s tail, pulling the Fairy out of Archie’s jaws. The crawdad scuttled up a tree, and with a swift motion, tied the posy-picker Pokémon to a branch. The Fairy-type wriggled in frustration, but Corphish laughed.

“Oh, come on, Corphish, don’t be cruel,” Juana said.

Corphish poked Comfey a couple of times before shimmying back down the tree.

Juana picked Bounsweet up and stood. “Well, we got the dog,” she said, glancing over to Butch. “Thankfully he’s not too hurt, though from the looks of it he’s got a bit of a headache from taking to rocks to the face.”

Butch pawed its forehead a couple of times as if looking for the sore spot.

“Anyway, we should probably get out of this forest pronto, just in case that Comfey has some unsavory friends,” Juana said.
