Juana nodded to Cillian. "I think I've had enough of fairytale lands for one day. If I checked my Pokédex correctly there should be some trains leading to the Strip a bit due west of Feyhollow," she said, wincing a bit (for the wounds inflicted by the pecking Hoothoots stung). "Corphish? Would you be a lamb and snip that branch?"

Corphish climbed up, poked Comfey one more time before making one swift Vice Grip attack and cutting the branch off the tree. Juana caught the branch and slung it over her shoulder, the grumpy fairy dangling off the tip of the branch like a hitchhiker's sack.

Juana gave a concerned glance to Tora. "We'd better hoof it, I don't think the air's good for Tora. Especially not with this chupacabra stinking up the forest."

Comfey blew a spiteful raspberry.

"Don't make us tie your arms together, too," Juana threatened the fairy.

Juana led the three trainers, along with Butch, back to the Pokémon Center. Penny was quite ecstatic to see the Granbull safe and sound.

"You're gonna wanna keep this fellow away from the fairies at night, míja," Juana said, jangling the helpless giant Comfey tied to the stick.

Some of the other patrons were murmuring about that Comfey.

Penny's mother took Penny's hand. "Thank you for finding my daughter's Pokémon," she said to Tora, Cillian, and Juana. "Penny, please be more careful and responsible next time!"

"Yes, Mommy," Penny replied.

"I'm so sorry if this caused you three any trouble," Penny's mother said. "I hope you can make use of these..."

Juana, Tora, and Cillian each received 5 trainer points and a Rare Candy. Juana gave hers to Bounsweet, elevating the mangosteen Pokémon to Lv. 10.

"You might just be ready to evolve soon, amiga, and after just a few days of travel! Juana marveled. Bounsweet chirped in response.

Juana turned to her friends with a smile. "So! Where to? Getting pecked apart by drunk owls sure works up an appetite!"

She joked about it, sure, but [i]ow, that really freaking hurts.[/i] Juana wasn't sure if she was smiling or grimacing. [i]Yep! Definitely gonna have to watch myself in the future![/i]
