[@Abefroeman] Well there is the Brightfyre theory, that Aerion Blightflame's lineage intersected with the Blackfyre dynasty. It is conceivable that there were other Blackfyre pretenders besides Aegon but why would they not rise up with the Golden Company and Aegon? The family have been trying to usurp the throne for generations, as soon as another viable prospect appeared they should have made a move. However I am willing to let you play your character as intended just keep in mind that it would kind of strain credulity to have yet another Blackfyre show up and that the bloodline's redemption has already been somewhat achieved with Aegon. That's why I thought it might be better for Maelys to be one of Aegon's children, and while I didn't put down the specifics of his lineage, presumably Aegon's mother was a Blackfyre descendant. You'd have to put down a reason he wasn't legitimized as a Targaryen though either way. Also, Aerion's potential descendants are foreshadowed in the books as well, and if they ever show up, they'd have something of an impact. As for the sword, since the Three Daughters are becoming a powerful force, I was planning to have House Rogare and their weapon play something of a prominent role in future events. I'd prefer for them to still have their sword for this reason and the ones already stated. But you can take this sword Poison as your characters, have it be a prize he won in the Stepstone battles. Keep in mind though that the Targaryen family would probably not be willing to exchange the sword. They only just got the blade back and its the sword of Aegon the Conqueror, they would most likely want to keep the sword in the family; especially if the person seeking it came from a family that has a history of trying to usurp their throne using the sword as evidence of their claim. They would rightfully be extremely wary of such an offer and would most likely flat out reject him. So in essence you can still play your character, I'll accept him but your intended direction for him wouldn't pan out completely. The sheet is really good though, you obviously put a lot of thought into it, and it would be perfectly fine if you wanted to make alterations. Alternatively you can put in another concept. We have no characters who are Reachmen, Valemen, Dornish, Stepstoners, or Stormlanders for example, and only one of each other kingdom save the Crownlands. And there are many disgraced houses or nearly extinct houses that a similar concept character could hail from. Ultimately, it's up to you how you want to proceed, but I really like your enthusiasm and it's obvious you have RP chops, so I'd love to have you in the game no matter what role you want to play. [@Dredigan][@Greenie] You guys still pretty busy? [@Masterkeun] Firebombs wouldn't be out of the question at all. The way this RP is shaping up, with mostly single characters and almost no Houses, I think I'm going to have to bring most of the PCs get an offer from the Throne to all go together on a mission; classic RPG style. Does that sound alright to you guys? Other characters will still have their own stuff to do but it looks like I'm going to have to try to bring most of the adventurers and single characters together. You can still have lots of alliances and backstabbing on a journey, assuming your characters accept the offer of course.
