It wasn't too long before the mescaline hit, she wasn't certain at first, but she was pretty sure that an Elk in the middle of Atlanta could only be a hallucination. Julia didn't subscribe to the same level of spiritual nonsense as her parents did. But she did give it a fair bit more credence than most people did. Maybe that was why she felt compelled to follow it, maybe it'd lead where she was 'supposed' to be. About a half an hour and over two miles later she noticed she was at the very same apartment complex that had been her destination when she had left the motel earlier. She scanned around the buildings for anything of note, her mind exploring every minute detail before she eventually found herself lost in the labyrinth of the asphalt at her feet. She wasn't really cognizant of the passage of time so she had no idea how long she was 'lost' in her own mind, but eventually she escaped and looked back up. Staring the illusory Elk in the eyes as it stared back at her for a brief moment before disappearing. Replaced with a man walking towards her. For a moment she was visibly disappointed, but she quickly realized that this was likely the reason she had initially come here coming to fruition he didn't look the usual type, but she wasn't one to judge by appearances. [@Cultural Titan] Instead though he seemed to only express concern for her, much to Julia's surprise. Her eyes widened and a shocked look took her face at his comment. "I'm fine... Y'know, just wandering. Looking to get into some trouble as it were." She paused briefly before continuing, taking a moment to consider that maybe she was her for a reason. "How about yourself?"
