Cody listened until Viccer cut out, sighing softly, deep in thought. He closed his eyes, to allow himself the ability to think. At Gerswhins questions, Cody said softly "I'm going to go in there. And merely let them see I am like them. That I want to help, without harming them. That I can understand. We aren't going to go in there and seek to capture them for those people. No...i want to earn their trust and...take them with us somewhere safe. They're just kids"He said, opening his eyes, a glow to them at his words. 

He looked to both of them, "We have a ship. if we can disable the tracking....we could get far far away" he said, knowing it was probably wistful thinking, but he had to have hope. He approached Caits, gently laying a hand on her shoulder "I want you to stay and be ready to get us out of there. You...are too fragile to go out there, in that mess" He said, his voice strong, knowing Caits would try anyway. 

He looked to Gerswhin, and gave her a smile. "Will you be okay?"
