Alias: Siren (Outside the family), Songbird (Within the family)
Age: 24
Appearance:
She's a real looker, this gal, a choice bit of calico. With the kind of face you want to fall in love with twice over, she can catch an entire room of eyes and own them for the whole night. Though her vibrant blue eyes can show you the gates of heaven themselves, this doll's lips promise nothing but sin. A galaxy of freckles orbit her face and various other areas on her body. She sports long jet black hair that is always styled to complete perfection, whether in an updo or not. Her body could bring men to their knees, thick and curvy in just the right places, reaching 5'6 or higher in heels, often accentuated with the richest sort of get-up. Her appearance is the flashy lure, waiting for a guppy to try and take a nibble...
Position: Soldier
Specialty: Hustling, damage control, distraction
Personality: In most interactions with Sera where she does not find any gain, one will come out from speaking with her with a poor impression of the lady. She can come off as haughty, disinterested and monotonous. Many have left her feeling duped, as if her appearance had promised them gold and she had delivered rust. She has a tendency to disappoint in terms of her demeanor. Upon further interaction with her, her aloof behavior begins to fade and she becomes a bit more open. She is not intentionally rude to others, she has simply become jaded towards conversations with strangers as people have had a habit of hunting her out because of her appearance alone, without a care off what she actually has to say.
She's a pessimist who finds pleasure in a limited number of things. She's stubborn and hard-headed, but clever and flexible in situations. She is well aware of how to behave like a proper, feminine woman and can work her way around a conversation exceptionally. She just never chooses to put that effort in unless it’s required.
History: Sera grew up in high society, with a family name that spelled out "rich and sophisticated". She was raised as a proper young lady and taught to ignore the rebellious actions of the modern women. She was a doll to her mother and an asset for the future to her father. Still, she wasn't unhappy in her life and attempted not to take the blessings of her birth for granted. There were small issues here and there of the pressure and loss of power in her life, but she really didn't expect anything else. She was bred to be a wife and was preparing herself for such a fate. In fact, she had even met a man under her parents suggestion that she was thinking she could probably tolerate for the rest of her life.
However, it was when she was around 17 that things started to get just a bit... complicated in her life. Men had always been interested in her from her young life and she had gotten quite a bit of attention. But it seemed to double in under a few months and she began to suffocate under the fellas that would hang off of her every word. She began to realize she could tell them to do things (generally "go chase yourself!" or "dry up!") and they would listen. It was easy to see that the people she spoke to were ready to follow her suggestions to varying degrees of enthusiasm. Well. It was rather strange, she thought, but she wasn't exactly against it. Made life a bit easier, even with all the attention.
She was popular, thriving. She made the papers on multiple occasions, just by doing things she enjoyed, or being escorted to an event with a possible suitor. Eventually, however, she began to realize she had attractions in ways that weren’t conventional or accepted. She liked people of the same gender and that was dangerous. She began to date a woman on the downlow, a girl named Rosemary the widow to a baker who at died in the war. They found bliss in each other’s company.
Then, one day Rosemary was assaulted while getting supplies for the bakery. Sera went into a blind rage, finding the man who did it. She very kindly and politely said five little words to him and he shot himself in the skull in broad daylight. Witnesses placed her there but no conviction could stick as she hadn’t touched the man once, but her relationship with Rosemary was revealed and her reputation was ruined. Her parents disowned her and all that precious money she had enjoyed was gone.
She moved in with Rosemary, but they didn’t have the money to keep the bakery going without the support of Sera’s money. She knew who had the money in the town and was willing to do anything to protect her and her family. So, through lots of talking, Sera got herself situated right in Michael Corvi’s office. She didn’t dare use her ability against him (not that she believed it would even work) and instead made a careful case about her abilities and her dedication, fully aware of the dangerous game she had played but desperate. She had lots to offer, could convince people to do things in a way intimidation couldn’t, a useful tool to supply the family.
Power: Sera has the power of suggestion. She can say things and weak minds will listen without a thought. Stronger minds can resist and even stronger can laugh in her face. Still, she can keep many a person enamored with herself and off the main target and can even change people’s perception, can make them believe they’re seeing things that aren’t there depending on their ability to resist.
Extra: -While her power comes from speaking, she is a singer and has a lovely voice. Singing appears to have no affect on others shy of the usual admiration she brings out from people. -Supers seem to have a bit more resistance to her ability, but are not entirely immune.
A young man descended from a mixed United Kingdom heritage, Andrew is a tanned white male with light blue eyes and rich brown hair.
Position: Book Keeper/Accountant/Agent
His primary role in the The East Canaglia Gang is money laundry; What's the point of all the blood and sweat to earn such riches if the government would just throw you in jail for trying to spend it after all? He is also the primary accountant of the gang members, ensuring that they pay their taxes (or at least enough of them that the government doesn't have cause to look to closely at them for tax evasion). His gift also makes him highly suited for counter intelligence, rooting out where there are... irregularities in the organization and drawing attention them for people more suited in going in and asking why they are there; Through he isn't above going himself at times.
Speciality: Counter Intelligence, Laundry
Personality: Andrew owes Michael Corvi an undying debt of graduate and loyalty that will never be repaid and that sense of dedication to the man is clear to see in Andrew's eyes and actions. He isn't the sort who will get friendly with someone off the bat and sometimes he just doesn't like one for no real reason what so ever (at least none that he could properly describe to anyone else), but those few people who can earn his friendship will have a friend who will go to hell for them if it comes to it.
While not a solder, Andrew isn't above killing people and can be rather cold and sociopathic when the situation requires it... and sometimes when it doesn't. At times he seems to have trouble seeing where the line for 'To far' actually is.
History: Once upon a time, Andrew was a young man with a grand future ahead of him as an accountant with a prestigious company thanks largely to the influence of his father on the board securing him the position. After the untimely death of his father in a car crash and the discovery of just how much money his old man had been stealing from the company to fund what appeared to be an insanely hedonistic lifestyle, Andrew quickly and quietly found himself out of a job.
Once on top of the world, apart of a wealthy family in a prestigious and well paying career... only to have it all taken away from him in a swift, brutal fashion. This loss of everything important to him and going from the top of society down into the dregs would have broken most people but thanks to Michael Corvi taking an interest in the skill set that Andrew could provide and giving him a chance to prove himself, he has largely managed to rebuild something from the wreckage of his old life.
Power: Andrew is gifted with Numerical Precision. He has the ability to solve, measure, and calculate problems through numbers without using mathematical operations, but through pure intuition. He can tell how many bullets there is inside a gun and how many have been shot, the measurements of areas or coordinates without having data of it or any information. He can use this to solve problems, puzzles or riddles and can enhance his own accuracy to be precise and always hit the target.
Despite this, he tends to keep the fact that he is a super on the down low, preferring to pass it off as just being that gifted an accountant.
Extra: While he likes animals, he doesn't really care enough to look after them and thus tends not to keep pets himself.
@Bright_Ops Cool. Im not sure how i feel about a member of the noble clan MacDonald being involved in such a seedy organisation. But whatevs its a good character.
Ok so something just came to my mind. There seems to be a difference between the players of this game. Some of them are more inclined to a good motive. Some are more inclined towards a darker motive. As there are two Capos, should we form two teams? One made of the good Mafiosi, and one of the dark? We can call them White Horse and Black Horse? Howsabout it?

What does the GM think?
Oh my this is very interesting. Gennaro Cavalieri and Bella Dona..... It would be interesting to see teams form for each of them, but my character would be more inclined to listen to the Don and only the Don, though I'm sure his attitude towards Gennaro and Bella will be rather comical.
