You could explain what he's doing in the dracon lands, for one thing. Was he born there? A visitor? If he's a guest, he'd be dressed like most humans, but if he was raised there, he might have taken on some dracon cultural characteristics. He (or his family) cannot have come from Russia, but maybe a "northern land" or something like that. His battle magic seems good, but you might want to be a bit more specific what kinds of magic this means. Did he study magic with dracons?
