Asura and Hero walked side-by-side down a path inside the forest. Where it led, Asura was unsure but he had put his utmost faith in his new partner. Wherever it went, he was sure it was for the better and not the worst. There was a fresh wind blowing through the trees where they were headed; wherever they were headed. Hero paused a few minutes into walking, stopping in front of what appeared to be a god-child’s nursery. He hesitated to look him in the eye. “What’s up, Hero?” Asura asked, his hand tucked in his pocket. When he hadn’t spoken immediately, Asura looked ahead at the village. “What? You got some bad memories of the place or something? We don’t have to go this way.” “No that’s not it,” He conceded. “This is the Village of Beginnings. It’s where all Digimon are born… I think. Look, I just don’t want you getting any funny ideas about finding another partner here. I’m your partner, got that guy?” Asura genuinely chuckled, thought it was short lived. “I’m a one mon kinda-guy. You don’t have to worry, Hero. Now lets keep going. I’m eager to find my brother.” “Yea, me too.” Hero agreed.
