Aurora stands at five foot ten, nearly a head taller than most of her coworkers, and can seem a bit intimidating to most. Her easy smile counters this, however, and she can often be found in the middle of crowds of people and joining in the chatter. She's never seen without her black-rimmed glasses, which became a necessity after her already bad vision grew worse from years spent with her eyes focused on her computer screen, and her dark green Xtransceiver.


Personality:
The confidence from her youth may have been diminished by her defeat, but she still takes pride in her ability to do her work and impress her superiors. This, combined with the ambition that still burns with a fiery passion within her, has led to her constant promotions within the company. One might think that her success would have earned her enemies within her coworkers, but her aloof and charming personality has maintained her connections with them. She still enjoys being the center of attention - although she's more careful now to take care of the fragile sense of "popularity" that she craves - and appreciates the companionship her friends offer. So far, Aurora's world seems to work out for her, but she feels like she'll never be able to shake away the feeling of shame and disgust at her past life as a Pokemon Trainer.

Background:
Aurora received her first Pokemon at the age of fifteen, given to her by her father, and grew starry-eyed with dreams of becoming Sinnoh's new Pokemon Champion. She blazed through the first few gym battles, thinking that nothing could stop her climb to success, but when she reached the fifth gym of the region, she found her dreams mercilessly crushed. It was a landslide victory for the gym leader after a show of overconfidence and haughtiness in Aurora's part. To make matters worse, Aurora's father had been watching. She had been unable to bear the shame and humiliation of the defeat, and despite her father's soothing words, she found that she was unable to pursue battling with Pokemon.

Nearly three years passed with Aurora helping out at their family's Pokemon Day Care, but the sight of aspiring Trainers proved to be too difficult to bear. Her saving grace came when a friend of her father's offered her an office job in one of the many businesses located in Castelia City, Unova. She jumped at the opportunity and enjoyed the feeling of a new start that travelling to another region offered. Still, she did not start battling with the two Pokemon she'd brought with her. Instead, her focus fell on her work. It wasn't utopia, but it was better than wallowing in regret and anger. She preferred it.

Aurora distanced herself from news about Pokemon as much as possible, and so she was one of the last few to find out about the existence of Gijinka. It intrigued her, but she didn't pursue the topic. She had to admit, though, that the offered money for rogue Gijinkas was tempting, but she had no means - or motivation - to join the hunt.

Info: Kir was Aurora's first Pokemon, and has always been a reliable partner during her time as a Trainer. Much like his owner, Kir is cocky and arrogant, thinking himself as superior - especially over Karika, who was not only a weak link in the past, but also someone he has a type advantage over. Currently, he enjoys lazing around on his mat, placed on a small loft area pointedly located at the opposite side of the apartment from Karika.

Info: Karika was the last Pokemon Aurora caught from Sinnoh, and it was only due to pure luck. On a trip with her Pokemon to the ocean, Aurora had haphazardly thrown a Pokeball - her last - into the ocean as a symbol of letting go of her Trainer self. It was washed ashore with a Feebas kept inside. When Karika evolved during Aurora's trip to Unova, she saw her as a sign of new hope for a better life. Karika is calm and aloof, perhaps the most mature of the three Pokemon living with Aurora. Currently, she stays in a modestly sized indoor aquarium that Aurora splurged upon. It's located by the windows.

Species: Joltik
Gender: Female
Info: In Aurora's first apartment - a run-down shack filled with dirt and grime - she found a nest of Joltik and Galvantula. Not wanting to fight, she called for the landlord, but they could not do anything about the infestation. In time, Aurora learned to live with the Pokemon that mostly kept to themselves and sometimes even offered help. When she moved to a new apartment in a better neighbourhood, one of the youngest Joltik joined her. While not technically being hers - since Anja was not captured in a Pokeball - Aurora still considered the small Pokemon a nice addition to the family. She's the prankster and jester of the group, and has a web she calls home located near the kitchen.

Name: Itch

Itch's absurdly low weight is a direct result of having thin bones and muscles in most of her body. It should also be noted that her hands and feet are adorned with small hooks that both make them coarse and rough to the touch and enable her to climb along walls and ceilings. The teeth in her mouth are all pointed and not really suited for eating fruits and veggies, and the keen observer can find a hole in her mouth, beneath her tongue. This hole leads to where her silk is stored and produced. A similar organ exists near the "other end", though that one's a very sensitive topic to Itch.

Itch is dangerous. A predator, for whom there are no friends, only prey. With cunning and ferocity, once she sets her sight on a target, there is no saving them. And best of all, that's all just how she views herself. Itch is every bit as deadly as an actual itch, which is to say, not at all. She's a smart cookie, but it would probably show better if she didn't have the approximate density of a black hole. She's also clumsy, easily-read, and if gijinka weren't widely feared, she'd more likely be the prey than the predator. In all her grand density, Itch doesn't realize that this fear is what puts her higher on the "food chain" than them as opposed to any actual power she has.

Of course, she's still a person in addition to being a "scary predator of humans". Despite her age, Itch is every bit the same brat a human child would be, for better or worse. She speaks her mind, thinks of herself before others, and is constantly seeking out some way to have fun. She has a particular fondness for the typical Saturday morning type of shows, though she won't hesitate to change the channel if the monster of the week is a giant bug of some sort. Seeing a bug die on TV is roughly equivalent to a horror film for Itch - still being a bug herself - and spooky stuff just doesn't sit well with her. Inversely, horror movies featuring swarms of bugs would elicit the same reaction out of Itch as an adrenaline-pumping action flick.

Itch also is pretty untrusting of humans, despite believing she's some scary predator that can have her way with them. After all, anyone could be a spy working for that nasty organization. Being a bug-type, she's also wary of birds, fire, and high winds that can toss her about more easily than humans. Once she comes to trust somebody, she'll fancy herself as owning that person, and there's never really been a possession of hers she's been fond of sharing. She isn't really interested in crafting hobbies despite being an infinite supply of thread, and would rather go camping outdoors or something to chat with other bugs. Which she can do. Naturally, she has a particular liking for spiders, though cockroaches and butterflies are also pretty high on her list. Ladybugs, meanwhile, are not to be trusted, and ants are all work no play.

Nothing really amazing to say here. Itch is a gijinka, was born and raised a Spinarak before eventually evolving into Ariados, big scurry organization hunts gijinkas and has been trying to catch Itch for a while. Although she's largely harmless, Itch has been pretty tough to catch since she's surprisingly smart and knows how, where, and when to lay down some traps to escape her would-be captors. Seems her habit of running from the mystery organization has brought her to a human. She's wary, but wouldn't mind interacting with something that has less than four legs for once.

Sticky Web: A.k.a. how Itch has eluded capture for so long. She sets up a web of her own strong and sticky silk somewhere to catch people with. She can actually make these pretty quickly.

String Shot: Also how she's avoided capture. Itch just spews out a long string of web to catch somebody with, slowing them to a snail's pace.

Toxic: Itch spits up a toxic substance. WARNING: This stuff is dangerously potent, and coming into contact with just a little bit of it will make the afflicted extremely sick at best.

Infestation: Using her kinship with bugs, Itch basically calls in support in the form of a swarm of bugs that chew away at whatever she's told them to for a while.
