We don't need machined goods- it's our primary produce- and we can refine our own materials. Furthermore, you are asking for seventy percent of our materials in exchange for thirty percent of your produce. This seems...somewhat unbalanced. 

We can offer (as we are fairly desperate) to give you thirty-five percent of our surplus materials, in return for enough food to feed sixty million people.
