Jace smirked slightly as he reached around and put his hands on his butt to throw him a little higher on his back so Basil could hold on better. As he made his way towards the front door, he made sure that Basil's father wasn't around before quickly darting out the front door and shut it behind him with his foot. He couldn't believe he was actually going to do this, but he was practically half way there now and had to see it through to the end.
	"We're going to leave through the back entrance so not many people see us leaving," he said. As they walked through the streets, Jace tried ignoring the odd stares passerby gave them and grinned like an idiot at them. Most just shook their heads in exasperation.
