Jace's throat was as dry as sand paper and couldn't even hardly swallow to moisten it. He looked off to the side for a moment, deep in thought over his words. Being completely honest he couldn't really concentrate on his words for long before they were nearly forgotten completely. Once again, he turned to look at Basil, eyes narrowed. "Why didn't you tell me when you first found out you weren't...you?" He took a few steps towards him. "We could have figured this out together like we always...like me and Basil always did." His hands clenched into fists. "I could have killed you earlier...I almost did. If you can die again. Is that even possible? I don't even know." He laughed at himself, continuing his advance.
