Mind just wandering for a little bit? Maybe go to the mall group or toward Aya. I don't want to open up a new story point until Turn 3, which I think is coming soon assuming that @Eklispe, @Manapool1, and @Satoshi Kyou can all resolve their things; and whoever survives between Menhir or Szall.

I mean, yeah, I guess so from a purely cardgames standpoint, but going by what you had down and how you described her I was under the impression Elly was one of those characters who hangs on to the bitter end and accepts their loss as a loss, since you were talking about how you wanted her to come off as dignified and stuff.

She did hang on to the bitter end. Only when all her options were exhausted and there was no possible way to trick her opponent into a sub-optimal course of action did she surrender. If there was a chance, however slim, that she could continue the duel, she would, but there wasn't, and relying on her opponent to go easy on her is something Elly would refuse to do.

After all, you couldn't very well file a lawsuit against someone if you didn't know who they were.

It isn't the lady she would be suing. It would be the school.

In case anybody's wondering, I've approved changes to Blight Bug's deck as well as to Menhir's.

Not a thing in YGO as far as I'm aware; certainly not officially sanctioned, but Konami hates fun so no surprise there.

You have a tendency to say rude things frequently. It happens more of less every post and PM directed at me. Saying that interpreting it as hostile is "jumping to conclusions" has me falling into a fractal pit of misgivings with the patterns plastering Nathan Poe's face everywhere.

In any case, I meant to say that saying that you were jumping to conclusions was jumping to conclusions; You said that you were "jumping to conclusions" by thinking that Elly held out "to the bitter end" when that is exactly what she did. (And perhaps the only time she does anything admirable) You made it sound like she, and by extension I, gave up prematurely after you systematically removed literally all options possible.

As for the meteor analogy, it was probably poor. Freddie Mercury's words on suicide in every-day life is completely inapplicable given the context of the analogy. Even so, comparing death to the end of a duel is inappropriate because the analogy relies on a context of remaining life being a waste of valuable time, which is relatively easy to argue against.
