Everything seemed to happen at the speed of light, contrary to how Aaron usually perceived the world around him. When DreadLock feel after being electrocuted, Aaron couldn’t help but fall into a trance of guilt. It [i]was[/i] his fault. If he’d just discussed this then they’d have seen the obvious flaw in the plan. There’s no excuse… not for him at least… his fault. It seemed like hours had gone by and Aaron had only moved a few steps away, to a city bench to sit, out of the way, when the emergency services arrived. When they’d left, he still sat there. Mulling over what had gone wrong. Aaron usually didn’t feel intense emotion or even, sometimes, basic emotions. This was the price of the power he wielded - he could not be everyone while being himself. There was a certain level of himself that he had to give up in order to save others. It took a while, but he did eventually get up and begin a slow walk to the hospital. He needed to make sure that he didn’t kill someone, an innocent person, for the sake of others. If it led to him killing people then he didn’t want to do it, he didn’t care if it was an accident… [i]it was preventable...[/i]
