Triple Threat Dealt With?
- Roxanne ([@Shadeflare123]), Novis ([@Sen]), Aiden ([@Deos Morran])

Location: Zamak Ruins
Interacting With: [@Shadeflare123] [@Sen] [@MechonRaptor] Equipment: 4/5 Pokeballs 4/5 Potions 0/1 Revives Aiden moved with a sense of purpose, moving down the hallways swiftly to seek out anything of interest. Taking the steps in a determined manner. His light making sure to illuminate his way to prevent any unfortunate accidents, but also to make sure they were on the right way. Meanwhile, Zorex and Acano took to hopping down on each step as they came given their rather short stature. Despite that, they were still keeping pace with Aiden and in fact, Zorex was starting to pass him, leaping his way into the light of Aiden's flashlight and onward into the darkness. Before long they leveled out and were looking around to find where to go next, but once again they were lead onto their path by the sounds of machinery and cracking stone. Again with a sense of urgency, but also a sense of caution not wanting to step into a trap. That was when he found the source of the noise in the shape of a giant drill digging into the ground and by the looks of things it appeared that they started several floors up. Ready to stop the machine Aiden took a step forward to go and shut it down by any means, but before he got far two assailants leaped out to block his path. When they spoke and tossed their Pokemon out it was Acano who leaped ahead to get in the way of the attackers. Once again letting out a large series of cries and calls to challenge the Arclight attackers but also to say in the Pokemon language that he'd take them both on single-handedly. That bid wasn't about to be tested though as Zorex leaped ahead to join Acano's side. "Looks like you've got a fight on your hands! We'll show you what happens when you harass and harm the locals and wonders!" Aiden called out adding to his friend's challenges and with a strong pose, he got ready for a good old brawl.

"They're already ruins," the scientist shrugged, "Who cares if we mess it up a bit more?" Both of their Pokemon leaped into action faster than Aiden's could, launching an all-out offensive right from the get-go. The Noibat flew upwards into the air a little ways before divebombing at Zorex with wings outstretched, claws ready to tear through the little dragon with a Wing Attack. At the same time, the Magnemite hovered over to Acano's flank and launched a ball of magnetic energy at the Larvitar, the bomb homing in onto Acano with pinpoint accuracy. He'd be hard-pressed to dodge it. but the attack itself seemed to take a lot of concentration to pull off on the Magnemite's part. It obviously wasn't trained too well for combat, considering it was just a researcher's aide. Aiden watched as the attacking Pokemon made the first move lunging and in response he could really only give one command before anything hit and the way he saw it, he could atleast give a good hit back if his friends were to get hurt. "Zorex! Use bite on the Noibat!" With that Zorex was swift to open his moutha nd best brace himself for the diving Pokemon and while he did take the full hit of the Wing Attack he let his sharp toothed mouth clamp down on the bat when he made his sweep riding away with him clamped on tight. Acano was next as Aiden looked over to see the Magnemite flanking and firing an attack to whice he tried to dodge but it wasn't exactly very easy given how mobile the attack was and when it struck it made him rebound back and slide a bit on the sandy floor of the ruins. That in turn gave Aiden an idea, "Acano! Use Sandstorm and let's show these goons what we can really do!" From there Aiden reached up to his chin and pulled up his bandana and then to the top of his head to pull down his goggles. With that Acano slide his right foot aroung to the rear shifting the sands on the floor a bit and then he tossed both of his arms back briefly to then whip them forward, launching sands into a torrent that started to slip and wash all around the room to obscure vision and start to slash away at the Noibat and the Magnemite while Zorex seemed to be just fine with the whipping sands. The Noibat quickly came to regret its divebomb attack as, while it did make full contact and inflicted the intended damage, the trade-off was hardly worth it. Zorex wasn't exactly prepared for a counter-attack, but instead managed to latch onto the Noibat, the dragon-type stuck head-first in the maw of Zorex. The momentum of the Noibat's flight, however, dragged them backwards several feet, the two tumbling unceremoniously across the stone flooring. With little else to do, the Noibat attempted to regain control of the situation, but Zorex's sheer jaw power wasn't easily surmountable and the Noibat quickly devolved into just struggling around, swinging claws and body around wildly in an attempt to get free. The Magnemite, nearby, buzzed in delight as it watched its Magnet Bomb complete its already sure hit, pushing Acano back as it tried to take the blast the best it could. It definitely did some damage, but Acano seemed unfazed and, on Aiden's orders, launched back into the fight and started up a sandstorm. Gusts around the room started picking up the sand covering the rest of the room, the particles grinding into everyone but Acano harshly. Both of the Arclight trainers obviously didn't appreciate the sudden whirlwind of sand, scratching any exposed skin and obscuring their visions. The grunt, however, seemed much more concerned than his partner-- this sand and dirt was not good for his pristine suit. The scientist, of course, didn't care much personally. After all, he worked in the field in a desert often, compared to the often literally sheltered grunt. As Aiden had protective wear and rather recent experience of battling in a sandstorm, it was definitely a smart move; both of Aiden's pokemons benefitted while he could still clearly give orders. Clearly, the full-force approach the Arclight grunts had decided to take failed tremendously, and Aiden had turned the tables quickly... They didn't have much of a plan to deal with this. "Magnemite, use Sonic Boom on the Tyranitar!" The Scientist ordered, and it followed suit. Spinning rapidly for a second first, the Magnemite took aim and launched a powerful shockwave through the air at Acano. The sandstorm diluted the aim of it, however, and the blast wasn't perfectly centered. If nothing was done it was still a certain hit, however. Meanwhile, the Noibat still continued its weird struggle with Zorex. The Arclight grunt was dumbstruck... Out of all the outcomes, this was not one that he'd considered. They had to do something, though, so the grunt decided on the first thing that came to his head: "Use Screech and try to shake it off, Noibat!" A bit unsure of itself, the Noibat obeyed and let out an ear-shattering screech from inside of Zorex's mouth, hoping that the soundwaves were powerful enough to shatter the dragon's eardrums or something. Aiden watched as Zorex clamped onto the Noibat's head and the two went tumbling. Really he was proud of his tenacity and determination to commit to the attack and when the two came to a stop he cheered out, "Good job Zorex!" It was then that the Arclight Goon shouted for his Noibat to use Screech and that made Aiden watch as the Noibat somehow heard and deploy it's attack by hearing a muffled cry come from Zorex's closed mouth. Zorex cringed as the peircing sound deafened him despite being muffled by his jaws, but it did not in fact blow out his eardrums as the Goon had most likely wanted. Instead Zorex stayed clamped on if only barely. Acano had a better time of things as he was not hindered by the sandstorm and felt the Sonic Boom lashing towards him, that in turn gave him time to leap out of the way dodging the attack and landing on his short legs. Aiden was quick to respond by shouting out to Acano, "Acano! Use bite and get him good!" Acano listening to his new friend used those same short legs to run at full speed through the shifting sands to close the gap towards the Magnemite. Once he was close enough he made a strong leap and dove head first at the Magnemite to give him a good bite. Looking back to Zorex Aiden knew what had to happen, "Zorex! Use Dragon Rage!" From there Zorex heard the muffled voice of his best friend and knew what he had in mind as if they had the same thought. Breathing in the sandy air through his nose he puffed up as his lungs swelled with the fuel for his attack and then streaks of blue light could be seen at the edges of his mouth as the Dragon Rage formed in his jaw... and around the Noibat's head before exploding and launching Zorex through the air as the blast shot the two appart. Thankfully Zorex flew through the air towards Aiden who ran towards him arms outstretched to reach up and grasp him midair... only to get knocked on his butt from the fallen shark. Though Zorex gave a quick shake of his head and leaped off of Aiden read to continue the fight. Aiden took a little bit longer to recover but he too shook his head much in the same fashion Zorex had before standing back up and saying, "You good buddy?" Zorex nodded and took a pose ready to continue the fight. It was hard to hold on with the Noibat's fierce resistance, but Zorex managed to maintain his grip on the Noibat even despite the incredibly obnoxious screech. It was only natural, of course, that Zorex capitalize on this incredibly advantageous position by summoning up the flames of a Dragon Rage and launching the entire attack on the face of the Noibat. It was a perfect 1-to-1 attack, almost no loss of power between source and target. For every reaction, however, there is an equal and opposite reaction, and this particular reaction sent Zorex flying back while launching the Noibat forward. They both fell the ground and tumbled a few feet, but only one of them got up. It was not the Noibat. The Noibat did not survive such a blast. He wasn't dead, obviously, just fainted. That left the Magnemite as the solo fighting force of the Arclight grunts, which was unfortunate as just at the same time as the Dragon Rage incident, Acano had shifted through the sands with upmost stealth, flanking the Magnemite and digging into its side with razor-sharp fangs. It emitted a series of harsh sparks in reaction, but they didn't do much to the well-insulated Tyranitar. After a few moments of freaking out electrically, the Magnemite desperately started spinning around at a high velocity, spinning Acano around rapidly before launching him off back towards Aiden. The scientist grit his teeth, trying to ignore the grunt's anguished cries of disappointment and rage at his pitiful excuse for a Pokemon. "Magnemite, use another Magnet Bomb on the Tyranitar!" He called out, pointing forward despite barely being able to see Aiden through the whipping sands. The Magnemite followed suit and started generating magnetic energy again, just like before. With all its focus on generating the bomb, and the sandstorm obscuring its vision harshly, it had to blindly hope to not get hit... As the gambit worked and Zorex stood victorious, he knew that the fight was not yet over and turned to the Magenemite to better help his friend. Seeing the glowing ball of energy being generated both he and Aiden knew that a fast action had to happen and that in turn meant that Aiden shouted out, "Zorex use Sand Attack!" To which Zorex was quick to respond by taking in a swift breath and launching a burst of directed sand at the Magenemite. The sand giving the Magnemite an even worse round of things which in turn made it's attack shift wide and give Acano a chance to close the gap once again. "Acano use Bite and finish this!" Hearing his freinds words through the sands and in mid run towards the Magnemite he leaped up once more to dive at the flank of the Magnemite to plant a firm chomp down on it as well as using his own weight to bring the Magenemite down to the ground for a suedo-takedown. With that team attack made successful and Everybody down on the sandy ground the Sandstorm started to clear to reveal that both foes had been brought down and fainted with both Zorex and Acano standing and looking at the Arclight Goons with mean faces. Aiden was doing the same but first called out to his friends, "Good work guys! Now... You two, shut off this drill and get out of here!" The last bit directed towards the goons.
[@Sen]/Novis As the sound of the grunts struggle from the stairs faded in the distance, one of the pokemon in the group had fled, jumping down the hole and descending into darkness. Perhaps the entire situation had been too much for it, or perhaps something else was going on. Regardless, Novis would not have been able to get a good look at it, and when he would focus his attention entirely on the 3 remaining pokemon, one of them seemed odd in the group. A Venipede of all things, scared and confused as it shivered in a corner (If circular rooms even have corners?). It must have wandered into the ruins from outside and gotten lost, only for this entire escapade to happen. There was also a bird pokemon, Natu, constantly twisting its head back and forth from curiosity as it stared at Novis, its eyes never blinking once... And then there was the notorious Yamask, who looked just as equally scared of everything, and yet it had been in the front of the group, weird arm things outstretched as it had tried to protect those around it. Behind all of them were the firestones that Novis' group had misplaced! When Yamask felt secure enough, it flew over to the machine along with Natu, both of them using some sort of ghost type attack that involved the plentiful shadows, slicing the machine into pieces and silencing it forever... Then, all 3 of them turned to Novis, curious as to what would happen next, along with if he would be mad at them... It was then that an officer came rushing up the stairs, gasping for breath and ready to stop some baddies. "H-Hold it right ther-... There?" She said, looking up after catching her breath to see that the machine was in ruins, and a kid was standing by 3 pokemon. "W-What happened to the people causing all this? You aren't one of them, are you? No, too young, and the pokemon seem to trust you... The reports indicated... Ugh, why am I telling you this?" She said to Novis and herself rather quickly, facepalming at her lack of introductions or really anything. "I'm Officer Jane, er, new officer that is? It's complicated, but we got reports of people trashing the ruins and only just arrived. We didn't see anyone on the way in from the main entrance though, only you so far... I'll need you to tell me everything. Later. I gotta get you all out of here safely if there is an incident." The pokemon seemingly agreed, each picking up one of the fire stones and looking at Novis as if they were ready to follow. [@Deos Morran]/Aiden Having gone down the bottom route, the grunts grudgingly did as they were told, though both were a bit afraid... "Pssh, w-whatever... We don't get paid enough for this." One of them said before they both bolted from the room and up the stairs. The scientist had carried out a bag that was lightly filled with something, but maybe it wasn't that important? From what Aiden could see with his flashlight, they had dug somewhat deep into the ground with the machine, along with having dug up several items. His thoughts, though, would soon be interrupted by the sound of an officer rushing to the scene. "Freeze! You... You child you?" He said to himself, scratching his head in confusion. "Aren't there uh... Aren't there suppose to be troublemakers? In funky outfits? Hang on..." He said, pulling out a notepad and turning on a light on his shoulder so that he could read. "Uh... Several individuals... Definitely not kids... Machines... Evil..." He mumbled to himself, the notes only causing him to scratch his head even more. "What's the deal? I thought uh, there was supposed to be some sort of horrible people, but you're just a kid, and we didn't see anyone when we came in... Maybe we missed something..." [@Shadeflare123] Unfortunately for Roxanne, the battle didn't go as planned. And soon, the grunts had her tied up, though rather loosely, as they made their escape. Unlike the other rooms above and below her, there was a door at the end of the circular room, which upon opening would lead further into the ruins. From here, one could take mulitple paths, with some leading towards places where an escape could be made due to having large holes to fit into. It was a lot safer to go through these unorthidox 'entrances' than deal with going back through the tourist trap. Who knows where she is by now...
