Had my post already written. Then suddenly, new post. Had to add a small extra bit at the end there to flee. And that's assuming the gun doesn't petrify her on touch. Hahahaha.

Wonder how good the aim of someone who's never fired one of these is? I'd wager extremely poor, and they'll likely be overcome by recoil. I have no idea, I've never held one of those either. ... Hahahaha.

Depends on who the person is and how good a grasp they have on the concept. For example, firing it the first time, Kael would probably be an excellent shot, but would overcompensate for gravity and be completely unprepared for the recoil. The next shot he would compensate correctly for gravity...that is, not at all...but would be expecting the recoil and thus mess up a few more shots. By the fifth or sixth shot, he would probably be spot on target, having gotten the hang of it. Now, these are Vector submachine guns, so chances are you would accidentally fire more than one shot with the first trigger pull, and that might be interesting...but they also have significantly less recoil than a larger weapon, so you'd have less issue with that. But aiming is the simplest concept...point the open end at the baddie. The rest is just technique.
Reloading on the other hand...at that point Kael would have an issue.

Luca has responded, ah... poorly, to the latest outburst. He doesn't really get what's happening, try not to hate him, lol.

Edit: also, I didn't tag anybody in the post, because waaaaaaaay back when I was really RPing we didn't have that feature yet. Apologies for poor manners, I'll try to remember next time.

@Cruallassar Amelie is not counting on being able to reload, she just wants to take advantage of the bullets currently in it. Haha. Anyways, noted.

@Terminal ... Should I take that those words were written in the same color that it was spoken in her voice or something? I realize I've been able to read everyone else's words just fine without color, now that you used it there, but it doesn't actually precisely say where the voice came from. The only logical explanation is that he responded to her with that, but... ... ... ... That's not clear at all. Huh. Heh. Well. I can work with that, regardless. Haha.

Hehe, after reading Doc Doctor's post I knew what I wanted Andy's reaction to be and I chuckled when I read Luca reacted the same way.

I failed to tag anyone as well. It's just something I don't remember on time. I read everything without being tagged, I guess I assume other people will do the same. The place where I RP the most doesn't have this tag feature, so I'm not used to adding it.

Is anyone bothered by my lack of tags?

Hello there, I'm new. Also probably going to be a wrench in what seems so far to have been a fine-tuned machine. That being said, should I post my character template here, PM it to somebody, or post it elsewhere?

Also, is "Godslayer" too edgy for the next iteration? :D

That's um, just a title. Not at all reflective on the relative prowess of the character it pertains to. At all. ;)

Alright, here goes;

Seem overpowered? Well that's because he is. *shrug*

I like to think that the greater the potential threat, the more chances for Alwyck to be a total dick. Of course, within reason. I don't think he especially wants to die brutally in an iteration.

Hmmmm...this may be a bad idea considering the manner by which the contextual realities spawn...just saying.

Character noted - I cannot accept him for the moment as the current Iteration is still in-progress, but I can go ahead and pencil Alwyck in for the Second Iteration if you like. No firm deadline on that, though I can tell you we are rapidly approaching Act 2 of what is meant to be a Three-Act first Iteration.

@Cruallassar It may be a bad idea, but I'd like to hear why specifically. The way I see it, Alwyck has the potential to be an interesting piece in the game, given his affinity for decay and severing connections. If nothing else, he might end up presenting an opportunity to see what happens when things go really wrong. :D I really did choose to go with this character because of Terminal's preface. He really made it seem like a shitshow for average joes and OP Gods alike, so I went with the character that breaks both of those archetypes neatly down the middle; Alwyck is an unconventional villain with powerful but definitively limited capabilities. He can break stuff, and he can hide stuff. Contextual Reality should as I understand it, make it so that breaking stuff and/or hiding it in another dimension is not going to be able to solve/escape the iteration on its own. My apologies if your character's trump card was going to be breaking/hiding stuff. And I cannot emphasize this enough, I am an absolute amateur at all this. I am genuinely apologetic if my inexperience ruins the fun for you.

@Terminal Thanks. Please do put me in for Part 2, since it looks like a blast. I hope that my character makes you cackle gleefully as you envision his eventual horrible demise. That aside, I'm also really looking forward to earning more lives for this fearsome game, so I'll be waiting for the next Labour as well! Thanks for engaging me with your excellent RP material. It's pretty freaking amazing, to say the least. Really gets the juices flowing!

I mean I'm all for people doing whatever they like -- perhaps next round we ought to consider more god-like characters among the rest of us? Or not.

Was tired. Still wanted to post. Posted despite almost being about to fall asleep. That said, I do want to comment on this character here.

@Kalleth Well. The thing with being overpowered, is that the stronger any one character is the more dangerous the iteration becomes. So, you're pushing on everyone else with that. Haha.

That said, he isn't that overpowered. Essentially he's still a normal, if top percentage, human, all titles notwithstanding. He just happens to be able to open a path to a dimensional prison and have a special scythe that sever "dimensional connections", whatever that is. There are no mentions whatsoever of any particular increase in strength, speed, skill, toughness or intelligence, so we can assume it is of normal human level. Donny's honestly more dangerous. Gods in his universe we can therefore assume are nothing special, either.

What's the most dangerous about him is really the mention of multiple dimensions. That... gives Terminal so much ammunition to screw us up with... Hahahaha. Anyways, yeah.

I do wonder, though, does it take a long time for him to open that path to the prison dimension? Does it open like a gate, does it remain after he created it? Can he, like, touch people and they suddenly vanish into this other dimension through some internal dimension-gate? Would it take any time? Eh, perhaps not my place to ask, but I did get curious. Oh, well.

@PlatinumSkink, I'd like to expand on Alwyck's abilities. You are correct in that essentially, Alwyck is for all intents and purposes a top-level human. His ability to use the dimensional cage, such that it is, is limited to personal use (hiding), in which case he must exit from the point at which he entered, so it's not really something he's going to be keen on using in dangerous situations. The cage itself had a lot of nasty things in it prior to his inheriting it, but since Alwyck actually wanted the things that Axxesh had bound to wreak havoc on civilization, it's pretty much a given that he'd have emptied it out first chance he got. If Alwyck were to try to imprison something, he wouldn't know how, and wouldn't have a vested interest in learning how to begin with. Much like his knowledge of portals, his expertise with the one portal he can actually manipulate is basic.

As for the scythe, it's a fairly badass scythe. What I mean by cutting dimensional connections, is really the "soul-cutter" type deal. This scythe could cut through magical things, cosmic things, and things that lie beneath the mortal plane of existence. In the canonical past of this character, he's used the scythe to cut through cliffsides, deflect blasts of magic, and kill many, many people. Including gods. No, the real reason the scythe "cuts dimensional connections" is because Alwyck uses Vhairnouros to seal his prison's gate. If Alwyck has the key within his being, then his scythe is the lock. So if Alwyck were to lose his scythe, he wouldn't be able to close the dimensional portal, and if he were to say...be thrown into his own prison... But I shouldn't give Terminal more ideas than he already has of ways to screw us over.

So to sum up, Alwyck can open a gate to a dimension that can store effectively anything, but which only has one exit and one entrance, which is directly centred on Alwyck himself. He also has a pretty sweet scythe which acts as the severance mechanism for the portal, sealing whatever is placed within the dimension inside. Also, I am going to avoid any sort of power creep when we get into the iteration itself, so to avoid surprises I'd like to add that Alwyck can use the scythe to manipulate the black fabric he drapes himself in, primarily to tie stuff, bind it, and essentially neutralize threats as best he can. It's not really an iteration breaking power, but I thought I should make it known, just so nobody goes "What the hell?" if Alwyck has reason to use that secondary ability.

1. Dimensional prison, opened through innate ability of Alwyck's.
2. Dimensional prison sealing scythe, also controls fabrics.
3. Alwyck is a top-tier humanoid, and he takes it upon himself to be as corrosive as possible to his surroundings, both environmental, and social. Naturally, he has resistances to the corruption that he himself causes. Expect very slight changes in things that are new/well-made/certain, e.g. flake or two of rust, irritation in those around Alwyck, but accelerated changes in things that have already begun to rot, e.g. faster fermentation of foods, pushing bitter people over the edge, etc.
