Don't go insane like that, just lower the power output, especially to start out. Serious immortality is way unfair though. Extended mortality maybe? Like fatal wounds have a grace period before they start to kick in or something. Harm takes longer before it actually affects him, giving time to heal somehow? A karma-esque system where the more harm he inflicts the longer he can go before harm to him takes affect, scaled by organism harmed and severity of damage done to him and by him?
