@ZardoricLey Line Walker is fine, but I feel playing a Nightbane would be too much.

Dang it... what power level are you looking at doing?

@ZardoricThe most powerful character concept suggested so far is a Mega-Juicer, and I'm willing to accept things around that because a Juicer doesn't have spells or psionic powers, same goes for a Mega Damage Full Conversion 'borg. I'd prefer to have Mega Damage beings either have innate natural powers as their abilities(a la a dragon hatching R.C.C), or be forced to wield technology-based weapons. A creature such as a Nightbane with their innate abilites, coupled with a Ley Line Walker's spellcasting(Them also being the most versatile of the casting classes) is just too much.

Basically, the most powerful anyone not using technology as their weapon should be, is a low-Mega Damage being that uses innate powers opposed to a sort-of class.

@DepressedSoviet
I think I'm lost with some of the lingo. I get most of it, but what's a mega-juicer? I've tried looking it up and all I get is kitchen appliances -_- Are they anything like splicers from the bioshock video games?

Also, I'm on my way to work now but I'll get started on my CS when I get home.

@jynmi88This is a pretty elaborate setting, and most of doesn't actually exist online(between the company that owns it pulling it off, and it being a setting from the 80s-90s). Basically a 'Juicer' is the nickname of a pre-Cataclysm superhuman experiment performed in Germany. The subject is given special implants and a harness that hold an experimental superdrug that increases speed, strength, endurance, agility, and makes them impervious to feeling pain. However, their lifespan is severely reduced, with most dying 4-5 years after the procedure due to total organ failure, and detox from the drug becoming impossible after about 3 years. A MEGA-Juicer is a post-cataclysm development, where the Juicer procedure is enhanced with implants that tap into latent psychic ability, which create a being impervious to bullets and regular melee weapons, and able to survive unarmored hits from lasers, plasma, vibroweapons, and other massive damage-dealing attacks. However, when their time is up after 4-5 years(possibly, but rarely, longer), instead of total organ failure, the psychic energy in their body begins to overwhelm their physical form, causing intense supernatural flame, and eventually an explosion that kills the Mega-Juicer, and leaves intense damage to the surrounding area.

@DepressedSoviet Before I get too far into my CS, do we have to know anything about the setting?

@rawkhawk64Go ahead and finish the CS, but PM it to me, and I'll read over it, and explain anything setting-related that you might need to know to make it fit properly.

@rawkhawk64I'm still awaiting a PM from @Archmage MC, and some kind of contact from @Zardoric on whether or not he's still interested in this thing. *I* still want to do it, so hopefully it'll get off the ground.

I'm not interested. You don't seem to have a strong grasp on the system.

1) Dragon Hatchlings are on average stronger then Nightbane Ley-line walkers. The have both psionics and magic as well as being nigh indestructible.
2) Not only that but Tech has many advantages over magic. Range, damage, versatility, speed, price. Excepting one or two spells (Powerbolt and maybe a legend) even short range tech weapons have a longer reach then the ranged spells.
3) A Mega-Juicer is more powerful than all but the most powerful of Nightbane.

@ZardoricLook, I'll level with you: Rifts and Fantasy are the only Palladium games I've played, and Nightbane I've only read a couple times, so I was making a judgement call based on what I remembered, as I didn't have my Nightbane book readily available at the time.

I've not gotten around to reading all of them(They're a conjoined collection between my step-dad and myself) but I have access to, from top-of-my-head memory, world books 1-23, and Wormwood, and all of the Phase World books, as well as every sourcebook published prior to the Ultimate Edition, and possibly some published after that(again, not 100% sure on every single book we have)

Oh, man, you said the magic word "Palladium". I will say I would be interested, but my Palladium experience involves Heroes Unlimited and BtS, not Rifts itself, so I would be kinda lost on the setting despite having a bunch of pdfs from years ago on my computer.
