Lin tried to keep her tone as even as possible, getting a little annoyed herself at Kyle's stubbornness.  "Perhaps I didn't make myself clear, Water Boy. My power can let me see the past or possible futures.  Ivy's emotions are so pure that it SHOULD be really easy for me to predict if she's gonna flare up.  If I get some sort of warning flash or tingle or whatever that Ivy's gonna go supernova on us, I'll take appropriate precautions and let you know.  Until then, buddy, relax! If you're gonna be a hard-ass, then I'm gonna be the  one who makes sure Ivy has a chance for some actual fun. This isn't a concentration camp, after all...at least in the way you seem to want. So why don't the three of us all go down and see what the Creepy Twins have ready for us, huh?"  

She flashed a winning smile, putting the finger halves of her gloves back on and waited on Ivy to make a move toward the door.
