She wasn't hood at controlling herself. Kyle was a safe guard. She knew that if she got out of control her brother could make sure that she didn't hurt anyone. Ivy knew her power was one of the most dangerous ones. Especially in the woods.

"THERE IS A WATERFALL BY THE LAKE. KYLE PROBABLY WENT THERE. HE KNOWS I WON'T GO NEAR THE LAKE."[/color] Ivy answered why Links said Kyle might be in trouble. It wasn't likely that her brother was in trouble. Kyle never got into trouble. He was most likely sitting on the edge of the lake looking at the water. Her brother would have wanted something comforting and he always found water relaxing.
