Okay so I'm about half way through your post and a couple of things I want to point out. I don't know if you guys have ever been shot at, but that shit is terrifying, and you never really get used to it. That's being said it's kinda hard to believe that 19 year old, who has never been in combat is calm and collected but making jokes about it as well. Also, Luna is an extremely capable body guard and Ashton is who's been shooting since he was a kid. Yet. It's implied that Ashton is a better shot. 

Also, we have powers, we know it, but we don't have any control over them yet. Also the cost for using them is REALLY high right now. I really wanted the two groups to be weak and afraid. Create a since of tension and all that good stuff. 



Plus I harped on Solius about being realistic and believable. So I gotta do the same with everyone else.
