Not necessarily, the staff members of the school try to mix it up as much as possible

They typically just try to get regular jobs and blend in. There aren't really any typically accepted "jobs" that channellers have (other than the school of course), because there just simply aren't enough of them. Like, there are less channellers in this world than there are wizards in Harry Potter

I suppose that's fair enough, I guess I was just caught up by the fact that you used armor and weapons as examples
