I feel bad for Millicent. She has such poor self esteem. Perhaps Fyror's gesture isn't personal per se, but not because he thinks Milli is unworthy of his affections. It is just that most women do not respond positively to him and he lives in a garrison where there are few women, so courtship isn't really at the forefront of his mind. Protection is really all he knows. Well, now that I think about it, maybe his self esteem is that great either. I guess they have more in common than I thought. XD
