Actor Details:
Name:- Brinlee Jade Wynn
Nickname:- Brin, Lee, Jade
Age:- 25
Place of Origin:- Boston, MA- now residing in LA
Relationship Status:- Single
Occupation:- Reporter
Biography:Born to a single mother, Brinlee was raised in a meek household with her two older brothers, Derek and Otto. They lived a very modest life together until the boys eventually moved off to college. Brin was the typical shy, quiet bookworm who loved to write. She was constantly writing every idea that came into her head and knew what she wanted to be when she grew up- but never was able to break free from her shyness and anxiety of large crowds. Brin was the typical school nerd in high school- braces, glasses, constantly carrying around books and notepads. She never had any friends due to her fear of public speaking.
Which was why, when local casting fliers went up in their neighborhood, her mother thought it would be the perfect way for her to break out of her shell. It seemed absurd- but she did it to please her mother. What the casting directors took as a perfect method actor for their small role (the stuttering, clammy hands, red face, labored breathing) was only a normal day for Brinlee speaking in front of complete strangers. It surprised the heck out of her when she was given the part of Madeline Diller, resident class nerd. Although, the part didn't shock any who knew her.
Fast forward from beyond the television show- she was finally able to manage her anxiety and started to open up to people. She ditched the braces and traded the glasses in for contacts- and high tailed her way to LA. Brinlee was able to find a somewhat cheap apartment (two room mates, Willie and Tessa, looking for a third), got a wardrobe and makeup update thanks to Tessa, and thankfully was recognized at her new reporting job. Unfortunately, due to her past, she was given the exclusive job to be the reporter to the stars. Brinlee always pictured herself as a serious reporter but she knew she had to pay her dues. With everything, she never lost sight of her morals and values: she's still a virgin, and doesn't drink or smoke.
Character Details:
Name:- Madeline Sarah Diller
Nickname:- Maddy
Age:- 15/25
Place of Origin:- Edenridge, MA
Relationship Status:- Single
Occupation:Editor of the local paper and online edition
Biography:Madeline Diller is the only child to a Engineer father, Stephen Diller, and Head Librarian mother, Alissa Miller. She grew up in a modest home and was constantly obsessed with reading. Due to her nose always stuck in a textbook, she rarely had any friends- not that she minded. She was the epitome of a teacher's pet: always doing extra credit, always volunteering, always showing up early/staying late to help out. Not only did she act the part, but she looked it as well: large black brimmed eyeglasses, full mouth of braces, sleek drabby brown hair.
Maddy soon became interested in the school paper once entering high school. It was her mission to become the junior editor and, upon entering her sophmore year, she did just that. She was constantly staying after school to make sure everything was in tip-top shape. The young girl still had a problem with making friends, but it didn't bother her. The paper was her lifeline and it held everything she could ever want within it.
The newspaper room was located directly across the gym. Which, unfortunately for Maddy, she practically lived in that office. The shooting that rocked everyone's world was right in her direct line of vision- which meant Madeline was a witness to it all. She didn't talk much after that, and she continued to hold the guilt of not doing anything more than hiding and watching. The girl had been frozen in terror and not able to do much else.
Ten years later, Maddy is now the editor of the local paper- print and online edition. She buries herself in her work and continues to do extra work whenever possible. Never having a relationship or many friends due to her silent, reclusive demeanor, she was surprised to get the invitation to come back to where her PTSD all began.
