Thrax is a tall, strongly-built man, with a hard jaw, and broad shoulders. He carries himself proudly, and is usually well-groomed and smartly dressed. His muscular form is covered in scars, which serve as an old reminder of his military service, and a testament to his endurance.
Now middle-aged, Thrax’s brown hair is beginning to grey, with streaks of silver slipping in around the edges. Thrax has a face which could be considered handsome, but his skin is undeniably coarse and weathered.


Positive Traits:

  • Driven- Thrax is an extremely driven man, and rarely lets anything, or anyone, get in the way of him achieving what he has set his sights on.
  • Stalwart- an ardent and reliable sort, if Thrax believes in a cause, he will pledge himself to it, without question.
  • Peak Physique- Thrax has kept up his strict fitness regime over the years, and as such he is just a well-built and active in his fifties as he was thirty years ago.


Negative Traits:

  • Jumps the gun- If Thrax has a bad first impression of someone, he’s very unlikely to change his mind about them.
  • Headstrong- Once Thrax has set his mind on something, it is beyond difficult to convince him that he’s wrong.
  • Fanatic- Thrax’s devotion to what he believes to be right borders on fanaticism, and tends to override his moral compass.


Personality Description
Thrax is a stubborn man, with a grim determination, and fervent belief in the prevailing of justice, no matter the cost. He can be courteous, and even kind at times, but will never let pleasantries prevent him from doing his duty.

Over the years, the cool charisma of Thrax’s youth has slowly eroded away, making him a much colder man than he once was. Thrax still retains an element of his wit and humour, but it is buried beneath years of service, and an increasingly soured view of life itself. Thrax has lost faith in humanity as a whole, and instead puts his stock in specific individuals, believing that the future can be shaped by a select elite, and not the mass population. The more Thrax experiences of mankind, the higher regard he tends to hold these views in, for as Winston Churchill once said, “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter”.

Thrax is not completely without compassion, however, and still believes in the goodness of the human heart, even if he has come to view it as more of an exception than the prevailing rule amongst the people of the New Earth. Above all else, Thrax’s devotion to the greater good will always be his most prominent trait, and one which he will hold on to, no matter the cost


Quirks

  • After a lifetime of smoking, Thrax has a slight psychological twitch that will result in him absentmindedly clamping two fingers together as if he were clutching a cigarette, even when he is not.
  • When frustrated, Thrax will tend to clench his fists and grind his teeth.
  • Whilst by no means a drunkard, Thrax has a fondness for dark rum, which he considers to be his favourite alcoholic beverage.

  • Fragility- As Thrax grows older, he has become increasingly worried about his own fragility, and has grown to dread the aging process.


Secret

After suffering under the neglectful eye of the former Captain Overseer, Robert McGarth, Thrax orchestrated a successful assassination attempt, so that he might ascend to the old Captain’s position, and begin reshaping the colony in a manner that he saw fit.


Goal(s)

Above anything, Thrax wants to make a difference. He wants to reshape humanity, and usher in a new age of peace and security, to the benefit of all mankind.


History
Despite coming from a well off, upper class family, Tiberius Thrax has spent his entire life working, and has always been a passionately driven man. The majority of his education was spent at the Queen Elizabeth Royal Military School, and the then young man seemed to be groomed for life in the military from a young age.Thrax always had something of a quiet charm to him, and a charismatic streak which seemed to suddenly flare to life during times of crisis.

Eventually enlisting in the British Army, Thrax had a distinguished career within the military; having reached the rank of Lieutenant-Commander by the time Yellowstone Erupted. In the aftermath of the Doomsday event, Thrax migrated to TRAPPIST-1, where is military accomplishments afforded him a position within the Overseers of the newly established penal colony.

Thrax was quick to excel on TRAPPIST-1, quelling unrest, and working fervently to maintain peace within the penal colony. Despite his success, Thrax constantly clashed with Robert McGarth, the then Captain Overseer of the colony. Whereas Thrax was unrelenting in his resolve, McGarth was lenient, and even susceptible to corruption at the worst of times. No matter how hard Thrax and the other Overseers worked, McGarth’s leniency, and lack of caring put massive amounts of strain on the Overseers, and it soon became clear that the colony was destined for failure under McGarth’s neglectful watch.

Deciding that working under McGarth was no longer an option, Thrax orchestrated a controlled riot amongst the inmates, resulting in McGarth’s death. Ascending to the rank of Captain Overseer, Thrax has since used the riot as a means to further clamp down on the colony, and tighten the Overseer’s grip.

Lily still looks good for her age, a testament of her diet and exercise routine. Her medium-brown hair typically falls down to just below her shoulders, although lately she's been letting it grow longer. Her skin is free of blemishes or scars (aside from those she acquired as a child), but she has a tattoo that's a few years old. The design goes down the inside of the center of her left arm, between her elbow and wrist. It reads "For mom and dad, always...", in cursive.

Personality Description
Lily doesn't have any one specific personality type. On one hand, she likes to believe that she's a decent person, but her random outbursts maker her feel inadequate at best. While she genuinely enjoys helping people, without expecting anything in return, she sometimes says things she doesn't mean, and will downright argue with someone if she's provoked. The back and forth that occurs within her mind always makes her think how much worse she'd be if she actually had dissociative identity disorder.

Lily is the type of person that's a straight shooter. She will be honest with anyone if she's asked for her opinion, otherwise she'll remain silent. Lily hates fake people, those who make themselves appear to be better than they are and always put down everyone else. She doesn't have the patience to deal with such childish games and will avoid anyone who's acting as such.

Given that she's been doing her job for some time now, Lily likes to believe that she has an answer to every problem. While it's true that she's very good at what she does, Lily doesn't like to be corrected, much less criticized for something she did wrong. Sometimes she'll take the criticism personally and she ends up questioning herself and her ability to do her job, but that's just part of who she is.

Goal(s)
Lily hopes to change the negative mindset members of the various factions have against the Overseers, which is quite honestly a bit of an overreach. She also hopes to stabilize relations between the two groups by first going through the Collective.


History
Lily was born and raised in Brazil to a very young couple still in their teens. The stress of bringing a new life into the world made her father, Luca, get involved with the wrong crowd which eventually led to his murder. Her mother, Maria, was heart-broken, but she soon found solace when soldiers arrived in Rio on a side mission. Maria met one of these young men and they got married right away, moving the family to Canada When Lily was just 3 years old.

Despite not being related by blood, Lily's step-father treated her as his own. She lived the typical life of a military child, especially when her step-father accepted a permanent assignment to TRAPPIST-1 when she was just 13 years old. Since her life had taken a completely different turn, Lily decided she wanted a career similar to that of her step-father, a job where she could help make a difference.

A couple of years later, Lily found herself getting into the field of Law Enforcement. She started off as a warden within the women's wing of the maximum security prison in TRAPPIST-1. Getting to know those women over the years made Lily realize that she loved her job, and she enjoyed the fact that she could help those who couldn't help themselves.

Life was more or less going smoothly for the small family until Lily's parents were murdered...the culprit getting away with such heinous crime as the investigation that was launched only concluded with more questions being raised. Lily suffered a mental breakdown once it finally sunk in that her parents were gone for good, and for a long time, she pushed people away unless she was working. She focused all her time and energy into her job, and when the Collective took notice of how quickly Lily was rising through the ranks, they offered her a position as an Overseer.

Lily then found an even greater sense of purpose within her new job. She quickly made friends with a lot more people to include Thrax, whom she looked up to due to his commitment to his job. They'd known each other for some time when Thrax eventually approached her with his plan, one that Lily was reluctant to even consider but eventually agreed to after some time and persuasion. Since then, Lily tries to not think much about her past and instead, looks forward to the future.

  • "Theo"- Short for Theodore
  • "Berserk"- It is especially amidst blood and bones on the battlefield that Theo channels this nickname perfectly. Ever since a preteen, he has suffered with intermittent explosive disorder, a mental illness that involves sudden episodes of impulsive, aggressive, violent behavior or angry verbal outbursts in which he reacts grossly out of proportion to the situation.
  • "Spartan King"- An obvious nickname due to his rank within the vanguard faction.

    These charges may not seem like anything worthy of a life sentence, however since the official rule of the Collective, gun control has been something strictly enforced mainly by only permitting law enforcers and the military to arm, and by charging gun-traffickers with life sentences. However being raised by a mother and father that were both in the Collective military, Theo has grown with the belief that every citizen should be able to arm a gun. Just as his own family had the security of a firearm, he wants that for all families.


Reputation
Depending on what faction you are, determines on how you see Theo. If you are a vanguard, then this man is your hero, if not you at least respect his passion for his brothers and sisters in the faction. He may drill his troops hard, but deep down everyone knows he has a good heart and reason for doing so. If you a muse, he is still considered good company because of his enthusiasm, energy, and passion. Though Theo does lack a complex mind to understand art on a deeper level. If you are a mastermind, then this man annoys the ever-living crap out of you. To you, he is seen as loud, obnoxious, brutish, and illogical. Especially now that Theo is actually going forward with the marriage even though the masterminds are against it, they are not on good terms at all with the vanguards. Finally, as for the Overseers, he tends to keep a metaphorical muzzle on his mouth when around them, for the fact that these men and women can literally kill off half of the colony without any consequences. And even if the colony did fight back and took the heads of all of the Overseers, the Collective would know about it and send back up... Or least would have if not for the aggressive decay. But now things have changed, the tables have turned.

Appearance
The first thing to notice about Theo, is his height. The man is a walking, living, and breathing giant. Surely anyone within the vanguard faction is fit and toned with muscle, but Theo's stature can be that of one compared to the statue of a Greek god, in fact he is probably as soft as stone too. Because Theo is so immensely tall, he is also so use to hunching over to avoid hitting his head on the ceiling. Moreover, his trapezius muscles are already bulging, thus when ever in cramped spaces, which he absolutely hates, he begins looking more like a hunchback. Funny story about his massive build, is when the underground vanguard bunker was being built, Theo tried to climb down the trapdoor leading to the new base, but by the size of his body, he got himself stuck. He eventually had to be sawed out, and a larger trapdoor was built according to his size. But Theo is pretty sure that the muses found it hilarious, especially because when ever they would walk backstage there would be this hulking giant of a man popping out through the floor.

As for what he regularly wears, Theo is often seen shirtless due to the fact that when wearing a shirt, it would most likely be drenched in sweat. And since he is such a big guy, anyone can understand that someone that huge is destined to generate an abundant source of body-heat, especially because he is often working out anyways. For his lower body, Theo wears a pair of cargo shorts and for his feet, combat boots. His vanguard dog-tag is an accessory that is never taken off, and his Spartan helmet is only worn on some occasions to show appreciation for the young pickers that found it for him in the ruins of London.

Without his helmet however, his neatly trimmed buzz-cut is revealed. As for his facial features, Theo has a memorably masculine face, attractive in a rough chiseled sort of way with a strong jawline, a roman nose, and high cheekbones. His bright blue eyes are perhaps his most charming thing about him, it is the type of feature that releases more a sense of human emotion to his hardened stiff and ridge stature. Dragging out from his right lower jaw it the bottom lip is a menacing scar created from the pointed edge of an Outsider's arrow, and slightly perpendicular to it, lands a deep cut caused by the dagger of that same enemy.


Positive Traits:
  • Family-man- Theo wishes that he could rewrite his youth years and cherish every moment he had with his mother and father, because ever since his arrest he has been separated from the two people that raised him, that hoped in their only son. Yes, he has the vanguards, but from that faction, it is moreover brotherhood that is felt. However, Theo has very protective, father-like tendencies that could be best expressed in a family of his own.
  • Passionate- Because he suffers from a disorder that has him acting impulse, Theo does behave on initial thought. But that fortunately means that every feeling is fresh, never rehearsed nor replayed in his head. But through this passion anyone can believe that he would never lie, he is not able to. Even his body language could not hide his true feelings about something or someone.
  • Ride or Die Mentality- To gain his never-ending nor breaking loyalty, one must get Theo to give more than simple allegiance, one must get him to give his heart. And the only way they can do that is to show him that they are willing to do just the same. But once they do that, Theo may just about burn the colony into the ground for that one person.


Negative Traits:
  • Impatient- Because of his impulse, Theo most noticeably has a major lack of any patience. In fact, this can cause him to be quite irritating at times.
  • Aggressive- Of course, some aggression is called for, such as on any battlefield pinned against the Outsiders. But inside the walls of Churchill, that hostility is not needed. Yet, due to the anger and wrath he is capable of so often expressing, he can assert his own interests without thinking of the other person. However, when Theo does realize this, he feels genuine regret and guilt, and to see such a hulking man sincerely apologize is quite adorable.
  • Reckless- By the look of Theo, he does not seem like the gentlest of creatures, and he naturally is not. He is the type of guy that no one can quite horse-play with because of his potential of that horse-playing to feel like a full-on brawl. But that is talk referring to his physical behavior. In his physiology, Theo is not the type you would take to fancy balls, because yes he might break something, but because he is not quite the most civil and polite, but says really whatever is on his mind. Truly, Theo is rough-around-the-edges.


Personality Description
Anyone would expect Theo to be a man who chases desperately after vengeance due to his own issues of anger. But he doesn't, because he has dug a bloody curled fist around the reality of what a monster he can be. After basic training as a low ranking recruit in the vanguards, Theo was finally promoted to combatant. It was on the field that he gained his first nickname, "Berserk." His anger burns like a wildfire, burning everything in his path. Once Theo is furious, anything and everything is his target. Like when a bull sees red, Theo hot-headed thinking makes all logic and rational thoughts disappear. He flips out and what's done, is done. There will be no turning back.

But there are ways in which Theo can stop even himself before the fire that is his anger is fully sparked into a deadly blaze-- it is walking away and trapping himself in an environment where all hellish rampage can break loose without hurting anyone. But sometimes, even then he still hurts someone, and that is himself.

However, back to the subject of vengeance, Theo believes that ever since he became the Spartan of the vanguards, he expects himself to have a sense of moral responsibility in order to ever rightly lead his men and women. Therefore, Theo reminds himself that he must not act on revenge, but on justice, and this justice is based on the old hammurabi code of laws, "an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth."


Quirks
  • Switchblade- Theo speaks in a "switchblade" style. His voice has an edge to it. Those whom he talks to are pierced by his sharp delivery. He never speaks in metaphors, in fact he is annoyed when others do, often demanding that they get to the point. As Spartan, he has grown use to speaking in directives, not in figures of speech. He is also very physical when speaking, whether that be over-exaggerated gestures, or very brutish touch like a punch on the shoulder or a push on the chest. But often this brutish touch is his way of showing affection, it just much rougher that anyone who is not a vanguard would expect.
  • Damaged fists- Theo's giant hands are almost always in bundles of bandages coiled around the raw knuckle bones that have ripped through the skin because of obvious reasons that relate to his wrath. Though even on the palms themselves, are laced cuts and slashes from which he smashed his bare fist into glass windows and mirrors.
  • Nicknames- Theo calls everyone by their nickname, and if they do not have one or if that nickname is to simple, boring, or similar to their real name, then he just gives them a new one.


Specialties
  • Brute Strength- No one doubts Theo's strength, just look at him!
  • Guns Blazing- Theo is the Spartan of the vanguards, it is basically his job to be quick on the trigger. As for his firearm of choice, he is the type of man who runs straight into hell with an assault rifle in grasp.
    Bruiser- Theo has been fighting since enrolled in school. Fighting is the main reason why he was expelled from so many. It is the rush, the impulse, the red that he sees, or even the wrath he feels, that makes a fist to the face exciting, whether that his fist on his opponent's face, or even the other way around.
  • Pathos- Theo tends to think more with his heart, rather than his head. Which makes sense to why he is marrying himself to the muse faction, not the masterminds. And though, being so bounded on his feelings and emotions do have their consequences, it is definitely inspiring and something that truly rallies the troops.


Weaknesses
  • Not a Deeper Thinker- As the Spartan, a man who leads the vanguards as his troops, he speaks in literal language. Little does he ever use any kind of word picture, thus poetry and those who do speak in metaphors confuse him and likely he will ask the person to get to the point if he has ran out of patience, or he will politely, which can be rare, ask that person to speak in simpler terms.
  • Heavy Muscles, No Speed- Because he weighs so heavily, anyone can guess that those muscles sacrifice his speed.
  • Intermittent Explosive Disorder- this mental illness is characterized by sudden episodes of unwarranted anger. It is typified by hostility, impulsivity, and recurrent aggressive outbursts.


Inventory
  • L85a2 Assault Rifle- A gun used in British army, the L85a2 assault rifle is gas operated, selective fire rifle with bullpup layout. The main advantage of this bullpup layout is the overall compactness of the weapon. Its magazine capacity is 30 rounds, and its range of effective fire is 500 meters. Because the convicts cannot allow the Overseers to know that they hold any dangerous weapons, Theo does not always have this gun strapped on his back, but rather uses it when needed.
  • Spartan Helmet- The helmet was a gift from a couple of young newly ranked pickers who presented it to their superior, Theo, over some drunken banter. Although it is made of metal, it is not a real Spartan helmet from ancient Greece, moreover a movie prop from old earth. But nonetheless, he wears it occasionally for his younger troops that look up to him as the ultimate warrior. Besides, they get a kick out Theo marching around with a movie prop, it shows that he has a sense of humor.
  • Vanguard dog-tag- To anyone this may only be just a bullet tied to a string necklace with her initials engraved, but to him, as long as he is living, the only person allowed to take it off his neck is himself. And when will Theo do that? Never as long as he remains a vanguard.


Fears
  • Making his future wife cry- Sure, they are not romantic, or at least romance was never mandatory in the political agreement, but he cannot help but push himself to fulfill the role as a true husband, as someone who holds her opinions high. Besides, there is the fear that tears imply fear, he wouldn't wish any who he holds close to be scared of him.
  • The Dark- Theo hates to not see, to be put in a circumstance where he cannot know what may attack him. Of course, this not a fear that constantly keeps him up at night. Overtime it is something that he has had to just deal with. But still, he worries when blinded, especially when alone. Usually, he tries to at least keep a lowly lit lantern by his bed.
  • Regret- Regret leads to guilt, and guilt leads to self-hate. Regret has caused Theo to become incredibly insecure in his own character. He always constantly trying to be a better man when he can control it, when he is not overwhelm by pure impulse. Even the reason why he is imprisoned in the colony was due to a crime that held good intentions.


Secret(s)
King of the Strays- Theo is a sucker for stray dogs, the look of those sad eyes, so hopeless and mopey, yet so optimistic to finally belong somewhere. Honestly, dogs are perhaps his favorite thing he has ever discovered on earth. Theo loves dogs so much so, that it is surprising that he has not caught rabies, sure he has been victim of fleas, it is reason why he cut down on his obsession. But he can't help it when going outside the colony to bring extra food for the strays passing along the abandoned ruins of London.


Goal(s)
Was a giant like Theo every birthed into this world to cradle a child of his own? There is no doubt that he bears all capability to provide, for he delivers unto his faction. Yet, Theo wonders if anyone can see behind the political marriage he is soon destined to take part in. He wonders if his future wife, Renaissance Iseabal MacGilios, is able to read his soul through those bright blue eyes of his and know that there is a gentleness inside this giant, longing to taste what security actually feels like when he can finally rest and rely on someone else.


History
"From Arms Dealer to Spartan King to Upcoming Groom"

Being an arms dealer was never his dream-job. Originally, Theo wanted to honor his family by following in his mother and father's footsteps. He was going to join the military, but Theo's adolescent years were far from pleasant; they were wretched and mostly spent in juvenile detention centers. Thus he was denied service due to both his record and due to his disorder. Of course, this only made things worse for him. Only days after receiving the news that he had been denied, Theo plotted suicide. But even when the only thing on his mind was to blow his brains out, Theo could never come to actually taking his own life. Yet he swore to himself that he going to do something for the sake of others. Making sacrifices and taking risks for another person's sake, is the very reason why Theo admired his parents. At age 19, he became an arms-dealer, but for only three months. Of course, he did not give Collective enforcers an easy time catching him, arms-dealing was one the thing he took pride in, finally he did something that felt right. But no matter his resistance of arrest, he was eventually subdued and detained.

After being found guilty, Theo was unexpectedly thrown into penal colony life. Perhaps it was all thanks to the vanguard. Perhaps, the Collective delighted mockingly in the thought of a former arms-dealer trying to become a vanguard, because unlike many within that faction, Theo never killed a single soul before joining. Though becoming a vanguard was the best thing that happened to him, especially because he has always been a family-oriented man. As a boy, Theo lived to prove his parents wrong but still make them proud, he lost that relationship when charged with a life sentence. The vanguards filled that void. He became Spartan, not because he challenged and overthrew the last one before him, it was because Theo won his favor as combatant when he saved his life during a firefight against the outsiders. The former Spartan, James Emery proclaimed that after him, Theo Callahan shall be the next Spartan. Of course, this was quite controversial since it is the Spartan's right-hand that should be leading the faction next.

After the former Spartan died of lung cancer, Theo did become the Spartan King. He decided to keep the second-in-command that he practically stole his position from as his own right-hand. He did this, because he did not sense any bitterness that the second-in-command may have against him. And even if she did bear any disdain for Theo, she could have easily challenged him. Theo was not going to execute her for treason unless she gave Theo a reason to.

But instead of a rivalry spewing between the two, a friendship spark, it was a solid bond built between the them. Perhaps he would have pursue something far more than a friendship, but he always feared that she would never return the same feelings. Like all vanguards, she is a woman who is bathed in blood because of the service she gives to the colony, why would she wish to commit herself to a man who does the same? Does she wish to escape from that? Marry a hard-working farm-hand perhaps? Those are the thoughts that proves to be a block barricading Theo in his own mental prison, and must be disproved by only her... well it actually may be too late with the current political situation.

Theo arrived to the colony in 2055, five years after it had been established. But during those five years, when the factions were first founded, there was a toxic rivalry between the vanguards and the muses, the warriors and rogues. But in all effort to wipe away that grim past and secure a deep alliance between the two, the current Spartan and current Renaissance voted for an arrange marriage, the masterminds, fearing this alliance, voted against it, but was of course out-voted. No matter, they have not rose in rebellion yet, but perhaps in the future if the two declare an heir that will rule over both the vanguard and muse faction. Because if that happens, there is fear that this child will destroy the faction system itself. Disorder and chaos is something the masterminds will not stand for. They will allow the wedding, but as soon as the Renaissance is with child, is also with a target on her back...

Elegant and charming, Isabel is frequently clad in extravagant gowns and colorful dresses, drawing inspiration from the era her title is named after. Frequently she will wear large, majestic hats atop her long, black hair, which she frequently ties together to keep it from getting in the way, and will don various pieces of boisterous jewelry, which had been 'retrieved' from London and the outsiders who live there. Isabel, in all of her madness, settles for nothing less than the most eclectic beauty.

Thin, pale, and sometimes sickly, Isabel does very little to take care of herself, and it shows. Almost always donning her mask, very few individuals will see that there are deep, dark bags under her icy blue eyes from countless sleepless nights, be that from her constantly working on whatever art project she has thought up, or from the nightmares that seem to have been occurring more and more frequently. If one were able to see the bare skin upon her back, there are noticeable gashes and scars left over from having been whipped and beaten by some of the Overseers from the few years she has been in the colony, fueling a deep resentment she has for them, though she masks her hatred quite well.

  • Simply Eclectic: Isabel's tastes span all across the board, be that from fashion to food; even her mood can seem jovial and loving one moment, then depressed and receded the next.
  • Devoted: When Isabel sets her mind to something, that seems to be the only thing she will focus upon until she deems it truly finished.

She hasn't lost all of her marbles just yet, but those who truly know her suspect it is only a matter of time before she goes entirely insane.
  • Obsessive: Despite her dedication to whatever she may be working on seeming to be a good thing, it can often get in the way of more necessary, day-to-day activities, as Isabel will sometimes forget to eat, sleep, and even bathe so long as her project doesn't turn out absolutely perfect.
  • Distrusting: Only a select few in the colony truly know who Isabel is, as she keeps mostly to herself and speaks little of what is on her mind. She prefers to keep it that way, as she doesn't believe a soul has any care for her, and wouldn't want to risk them taking advantage of her.


Personality Description
On the surface, Isabel appears to everyone she meets as a quaint, extravagant woman, often silent and reserved, though quite enjoyable to have in conversation. Her immensely distinguished wardrobe spans all variants of fashionable design, bringing out her eclectic tastes in dress, often donning vast, colorful gowns that sometimes even make her appear smaller inside of them, to other's humor. She doesn't seem to mind the attention it will bring her, and flaunts her status to allow her to express herself just so. With her passion and devotion that is easily seen in each of her works, it comes as no surprise to some that her dedication is probably one of the main deciding factors to her being appointed to Renaissance, as she is frequently thinking of new and innovative ideas to incorporate into each project that she lays her hands upon.

Unfortunately, what people see of her on the outside is not truly reflective of what is truly occurring within her mind. Most prominent in her thoughts is the fact that they don't always correlate with reality, with bursts of psychosis flooding her brain, which has only been occurring more and more frequently. Whether it be delusions, extreme disorganization, or even aural hallucinations, Isabel is fast approaching the treacherous line between sanity and lunacy. Her apparent kindness to strangers is thinly veiled by a fabric of distrust, not allowing anyone into her own life lest it absolutely cannot be helped. Her devotion to her work certainly leaves masterpieces for others to enjoy, but it also leaves behind any care for her physical body, leaving her self-starved, frail, and sleepless. It would take an outside force to recognize what she is doing to herself, and attempt to deter it from harming her further.

  • Isabel has a peculiar, hyena-esque laugh that will come out when she finds something especially humorous.
  • Though it isn't immediately apparent, if one were to pay close attention, Isabel's right eyelid hangs just slightly lower than the left.

  • Prodigy of the Arts: As she began to publicize her work, many Muses were simply blown away by how Isabel's paintings would perfectly capture raw emotion, how her scripts had an intricate depth of drama and humor, and that her brief attempts made with music had epic flourishes and swaying serenades. In fact, since she has been appointed as Renaissance, many Muses have drawn inspiration from Isabel's work, and have made great success in each of their endeavors.
  • Master Conspirator: Isabel is particularly aware of the political situation occurring within the penal colony, and uses this and her own status to her advantage, being able to cover up any tracks that might be left behind.
  • Delicate Hands: Her precision with the pen and brush is quite a force to be reckoned with, especially if the end of her brush is replaced with the sharp point of a blade.

  • Brief Psychosis Disorder: Though it only occurs on occasion, Isabel is susceptible to states of psychosis under certain conditions, and these events only seem to be occurring more frequently. Luckily, they haven't come entirely to light just yet, but soon enough it will be difficult for her to hide her mental condition.
  • Sleep Deprived: Countless sleepless nights have left Isabel a bit delirious, as she will occasionally lose her train of thought or even become unconscious in serious cases.

History
Iseabal MacGilios was born at the closing days of Autumn in the year 2045, nearly a whole year after the cataclysmic eruption that shook the Earth. Spending the first few years of her life in Scotland with her parents, "Isabel", as she soon came to be called, led a relatively uneventful childhood, despite the gradual decline of well-being that was falling over the people of Earth. This all changed as she and her parents were among some of the last members of the great wave of humanity that flocked to the TRAPPIST-1 system at the end of the decade, as her parents had no great amount of income, and had to experience the beginning of havoc and chaos that was increasingly filling the remains of what was once a golden era of civilization.

Life on TRAPPIST-1d was fairly difficult for the MacGilios family, despite frequent Collective aid that was given out to some of the more impoverished members of society. Isabel paid little mind to all of this however, often wandering through her own little world that she had crafted inside of her head, making the most out of life, as well as she could. In the year 2059, however, Isabel's mother Anna gave birth to a second daughter, named Una. The affection that she had become so accustomed to was suddenly snatched away from Isabel, leaving her feeling abandoned and forgotten as her parents only paid mind to her new sister. The immense depression that Isabel fell into pulled her deep into her mind, waking up demons inside of her that she never knew existed.

Isabel hardly remembers what occurred that night in 2063, other than there was a great deal of crimson, as she recalls. According to the report, she had killed her father first - strangulation, then slit his throat, just to make sure he wouldn't wake up. Then came her mother, a similar fate. Then, finally, Una was fast asleep at the time, though she must have awoken as her face was covered with a pillow until she stopped flailing. Isabel doesn't remember any of this. Just the color crimson. Eerily enough, all of her paintings use various shades of red, especially crimson.

Iseabal MacGilios was convicted of triple homicide on March 9th, 2064, two days short of what would be her sister's fifth birthday. Despite many attempts to alter the results of the trial under the insanity plea, Isabel was sentenced to life imprisonment within a penal colony back on Earth. Eventually arriving in the penal colony dubbed "Churchill", Isabel was frequently treated poorly by a number of Overseers, one in particular who whipped her with a cruel flagellum after she had stepped out of line after they had arrived, leaving deep scars upon her back that are still visible, though she hides them as best as she can. Intriguingly, these same Overseers wore the very color upon their uniforms that Isabel had seen that fateful night.

As she grew accustomed to the culture of the colonists, she sought refuge among the Muses, who quickly became envious of her artistic capabilities, despite her having hardly any experience in the arts. One among them she had befriended upon the ship that had transported her to the colony, named Declan, who she quickly grew close to, and was the driving force behind her publishing her work. In the year 2067, Isabel felt bold enough to challenge for the position of Renaissance - after a bit of persuasion from Declan - and was surprised that she had been chosen due to the love toward what many deemed to be her best work, "Intacta Caelo" - crimson skies over a darkened landscape of tattered, hopeful men, women, and children, which many prisoners figured to be a cry for freedom from Overseer oppression. Of course after her appointment, she felt that having Declan by her side was only justified as he had helped Isabel in getting where she was, and appointed him to be the Renaissance's right-hand.

Now comes yet another fateful day for Isabel, as she has agreed to marriage to the Spartan Theodore Callahan, leader of the Vanguard. This marriage will mark the end of a destructive past between the Muses and the Vanguard, forging an irrefutable alliance, and possibly challenging the very faction system itself. Though she sees the potential this could do for the colony, Isabel also sees a future of immense struggle and drastic measures, coupled with her own declining mental condition. She just hopes that, if she plays her cards right, she could very well be one of the faces of a new dawn for humanity.

But these rumors have made Cassie take a defensive stance, something that only makes the case against her even stronger. Luckily, she knows to keep her composure despite all the trash that's being said behind her back.

Cassie is of average height and weight, and she makes sure her body remains toned up to set the example for her subordinates right alongside Theo. She has what is known as heterochromia iridium; her left eyes is hazel and her right one is blue. Additionally, she has short brown hair, one that's easily manageable and doesn't create too much of a fuzz.

More often than not, Cassie can be seen wearing a tank top underneath a light leather jacket and fitted jeans tucked inside brown boots. She almost always carries around a black backpack unless she's doing something which requires otherwise.


Positive Traits:
  • Cassie is naturally a funny person. She's known as the wisecrack within her faction and people usually go to her when they need to be cheered up.
  • Loyalty is another one of Cassie's top qualities. She is faithfully loyal to Theo and the rest of the Vanguards.
  • She is extremely independent; she hates when people take pity on her.


Negative Traits:
  • True to the rumors, Cassie does tend to keep whatever she finds, regardless of who those items belong to.
  • Selfishness is one unfortunate downfall of Cassie. While she does appreciate and care for her faction, she will almost always chase what is in her best interest.
  • Quite capable of being a good liar, the woman hasn't always been completely truthful with anyone, not even Theo.


Personality Description
Cassie is an interesting little character always out to make some jokes and cause mayhem. She can easily hang out with a group of guys or girls and not feel left out. Too often, Cassie will speak her mind and enjoy the tension as she watches the reactions others have to her statements. Not being one too take anything too serious, Cassie finds it hard to show the right type of emotions during difficult times.

Despite her "carefree" attitude, Cassie knows when it's time to get down to business. She respects rank and is on top of her people to follow the chain of command. Acting as Theo's right-hand, Cassie often carries the burden of delivering not-so-good news to the troops and finds herself in awkward situations she does not want to be a part of. Regardless, she gets the job done, and finds a great sense of satisfaction after completing whatever task was given to her.

  • Whenever someone becomes an emotional wreck in front of her, Cassie will look to the side as she mumbles some words of encouragement.

To be happy, plain and simple. She hopes that the daily struggles faced by everyone in the colony slowly begin to disappear after a much needed change in politics.


History
When she was just a child, Cassie found herself more often than not being punished by her parents due to her bad behavior. She had a short fuse, and even though she wasn't necessarily a bully amongst her peers, she always defended herself by going the extra step...a bold move she took to make sure that everyone understood she wasn't one to be stepped on. This type of lifestyle continued for Cassie well into her teenage years, when she eventually crossed the wrong group and got the beating of her life to show for it. To make matters worse, one of the hits she took was to the left eye, that which caused her permanent blindness in that eye. It was then that Cassie decided she would have to find a less violent method to channel her anger, and she eventually settled for comedy and making jokes to make others laugh. It took her some time, but she eventually learned to laugh right alongside everyone else.

Even though Cassie wasn't running around beating people who crossed her anymore, she was none the wiser to stop her mischievous acts. A few years of practice turned her into a pickpocketing professional, and even though she was caught a few times, she avoided any serious repercussions. Early on in her 20s, Cassie once more came across the wrong crowd. She saw a small group of well-dressed men and women mingling amongst themselves and noticed one of them walked away by herself. Seeing that as the perfect opportunity, Cassie followed the elderly woman until they were mostly out of sight and proceeded to attempt to steal her bag. The woman was stronger than she looked though, and in the struggle, Cassie unintentionally ended up shoving her to the ground. A second or two passed before she saw blood pooling on the ground, and Cassie cursed herself for giving the woman a severe wound without intending to. Deciding to go for help, Cassie turned around only to find herself face to face with the remainder of the group. She attempted to run, but she was easily caught and it was then she found herself in a world of trouble.

As it turns out, the elderly woman was one of the members of The Collective. She had lived, but had about 10 or 11 stitches on the side of her head as proof of the attack. Cassie was sent off to the penal colony, where she decided to join The Vanguards to learn to become a better fighter. Like everyone else, she started off in the lower ranks, but after 5 years, she was made Second-in-Command due to her skills and dedication to the faction. Despite of her new rank, her feelings didn't lessen for Theo, a teammate who reminded her of herself to an extent. She admired him as much as their current Spartan King, and in a funny twist of events, Theo actually became the next Spartan, despite the fact that the position should have gone to her. But despite her feeling a bit cheated, she knew exactly whose life Theo had saved, and that the previous Spartan King was simply returning the favor. If she had anyone to blame, it definitely wasn't Theo.

But now, ever since finding out about the arranged marriage, Cassie has been stuck in a position she wished wasn't hers anymore.

That is thought that so often crosses Alfie's mind, and it obvious in his daily life, whether that be on the Overseer base, or in Churchill. Alfie always seems as if he is sucking up to his superior. However that is initially what all convicts think of him, but if you are within the Overseer faction as is Corporal Lily, then it is much more understandable that Alfie sees Thrax as his father, not just his superior. Though this nickname is seen moreover as an insult, and is said by the convicts, not his own fellow Overseers, at least not to his face.

Even off of earth and on the Overseer base, Alfie always makes the extra effort to dress in his sharp crimson uniform, with the side cap neatly tucked over his slick black hair. He maintains a clean-shaven face and a pure pale complexion, as he was a night-crawler on TRAPPIST-1d. Though after training through a Collective military academy on the day-side of the planet, Alfie has grown to no longer be quite so sensitive to simple light-rays.

He is quite skinny however, though makes up for through muscle. Yet that is not to say that Alfie is anywhere near the equivalent to a body-builder's stature, he certainly lacks much bulk. Alfie's most favored hobby is running, he use to run track in the academy. In fact he has the history of winning an abundant amount of medals from numerous different races. So if there is any particular part of the body that Alfie is the most toned in, it would definitely be his legs with the counted skill of speed.

As for his facial features, Alfie has quite the handsome, pretty-boy face. Even his smile is precious, as it goes perfectly well with his rare grey eyes. But graced on his pale perfect skin, against the right side of his chest is inked the famous Overseer hawk. It was his way of celebrating the title of Lieutenant Overseer.


Positive Traits:
  • Presents Self Well- Alfie is very professional, but in a good way usually. He never dresses sloppy, never late to any meetings or gathers, and carries himself with a straight firm posture. In fact, he carries himself so well that he became the poster-boy of the New Earth penal colonies.
  • Listener- All Alfie's life, he has always been an introvert. Therefore naturally, he is a quiet man who ponders deeper through the flow of words from the lips of others. Through his sense of listening, Alfie can still be thoughtful, though it seems some of his more negative traits contradict him from acting on any mercy or compassion.
  • Hard Working- How else has this 21 year old gained the rank of Lieutenant Overseer? He works with energy, commitment, and dedication. It is something that has not aided him through his career path, but even in simply activities such as running track. Everything has to come to an end. It may be cheesy, but he is hopeful to imagine that is always a finish line.


Negative Traits:
  • Somber- He has been wearing the same sad expression for quite sometime. There is something clearly pestering his mind, yet he has remained silent. Perhaps it only hinders his abilities to commit as an Overseer lieutenant.
  • Cold- When first ranked Lieutenant Overseer, Alfie was proud and optimistic, yet now he seems rather distant and stiff. He still continues to carry out the Captain's wishes with pride, yet deep inside he has become harsher and much more cruel to the convicts. Perhaps it is because the Captain has impacted him to such great extent.
  • Selfish- Alfie would render anything to the Overseer, but that is exactly what makes him selfish. Everyone else means nothing, there is no mercy unless Thrax allows mercy, there is no peace unless Thrax allows peace, there is no compassion unless Thrax allows it. Yes, Alfie truly loves and looks up to the man as the father figure he never had, but currently, he cannot allow anything or anyone ruin his standing with the man. The same is with the corporal under him, Lily, he will not let anything destroy the respect she has for him. Why? It is because they are guiltless, or so he thinks, unlike the scum of the colony. It is his philosophy that the Overseers deserve him to be selfish for their sake.


Personality Description
Alfie is someone who listens more than he talks, and even when does decide to say a word, he chooses that word extremely carefully. He carries immense meaning in everything he says, never does he waste any of his words. He is sincere, that is his most attractive quality. He prefers to speak to those who mentally process things with as much complexity as he does, if not he sense an empty superficial conversation, one that is best not to even be heard. Alfie knows that he is pessimistic, but imagining other people's perspectives, helps him stray from a negative outlook. Unless that person is also negative, then he or she just secures even further his pessimism.

Too him, nothing should be wasted, not words, nor time, not even food should be wasted. Wasting can bring regret, and Alfie can bear regret that determines a dominating mood. Alfie regrets that he did not make the best of his moments of TRAPPIST-1, back when he could see his strict yet loving mother. Now it is all gone, she is gone, and he did not even have the chance to say good bye and to say sorry.

Now he is cold and without mercy, condemning the convicts with his flagellum. He has his reasons, but because of complications, those reasons must be secrets. And though because of his deep thinking, Alfie is a mystery, he prefers to not keep secrets from people he cares about. Yet, if he were to confess those secrets for what they truly are, he may only gain separation.


Quirks
  • The Calculator- With any directive order, Alfie respond with a quick "Yes, sir!" or "Yes, ma'm!" But if you are willing to have a deeper discussion with him, Alfie is known to speak rather slowly as he delves deep into his thoughts, pausing most of the time when speaking. He searches for ways to word those ideas and those concerns.
  • Star-gazer- It feels therapeutic for Alfie to stare into the night sky, identifying the constellations for what they are. He imagines his thoughts floating as the stars above him are. The beauty of the stars is one reason why he loves space, and enjoys traveling. Almost wishing that teleportation was not a popular form of transportation, just so he could float in space a little longer.
  • Never wastes food- As a trained colonist, wasting food is not a luxury that those who are only surviving can have. Even if they are not in tight survival situations, Alfie cannot help but feel an amount of guilt when food is thrown away. He will go so far to ask to finish someone's leftovers.

  • Survivalist- After attending Vagabond Colonist Academy, Alfie has learned the skills to keep himself and even the crew alive. He wishes that the Captain would rely solely on his academy experience, rather than listening to the Collective advice to conform to Churchill. But in ways, the Captain is right to do so, Alfie has never tested his abilities on earth, these people survive everyday on the abandoned planet.
  • Runner- All the medals Alfie has won due to track, proves that he could very likely outrun anyone.
  • Photographic memory- Alfie did not only excel at the top of his class through the hands-on test of survival, but also on the written exams or when they had to memorize key facts to colonization. Alfie has a sharp mind, he is quite an intelligent young man who appreciates the company of other intellects.


Weaknesses
  • Frail- Alfie is not the most robust person, but instead relies more on agility and sharp-thinking during any split second.
  • Pessimist- He always naturally been a pessimist, but his negative outlook on life has only grown stronger due to the outbreak of the aggressive decay that has likely taken his mother's life.
  • Indoctrinated- Because his mother was misled by member of the anti-Collective terrorist group known as Terra-Rise, he has been raised to believe that anything or anyone that opposes the Collective opposes order and freedom itself. With this, Alfie can be easily manipulated into carrying out his superior's dirty deeds if it is portrayed to honor the Collective.


Inventory
  • Flagellum- Starting with Alfie's most used item against the prisoners, is his flagellum, which is actually quite medieval of him. But since he refuses to ever take the life of any in his colony, he does not hesitate to deliver punishment through these lashes. He is known to rip ribbons of fleshy tissues with his flagellum. Recently he has been going harder, leaving men and women with their backs split open and barely being able to walk.
  • Stun Gauntlet- A convict can count themselves spared mercy, when Alfie only simply releases a shocking sensation through his stun gauntlet. The battery-powered gauntlet aids him in one-handed combat, since he does lack the muscle power his opponent might excel in.
  • ELO2587 Pistol- A Collective military pistol that Alfie rarely uses, only when it is his last resort.

Fears
  • Disowned by Thrax- The man is like a father to him, even if he was not an Overseer, Thrax has mentored him for five years. Alfie would completely break if Thrax hated and disowned him.
  • Insanity- Alfie is definitely a deep thinker, but he is scared of the dark thoughts that stalk him. The reminders that causes him to doubt his own responsibility. His own self conviction that causes him to constantly realize that he not pure. He fears that these thoughts will sacrifice his own sanity.
  • Mastigophobia- The fear of being beaten, more specifically flogged. Alfie is well aware of what damage he causes with that flagellum of his, and Alfie also knows why he does it so often, something that no else knows. But fears, especially since they are headed their way to Churchill, that he will be scourged by his own whip. Slowly being ripped apart, he trembles just the thought of how likely that will happen.


Secret(s)
Dark Intentions- Before the outbreak of the aggressive decay, Alfie was purposely trying to make the colony hate him. And though he never killed any prisoner, he has not spared them any mercy from chastisement.


Goal(s)
Alfie is against it, but if they are headed to Churchill, then all he can do is preserve the survival of his team. Perhaps there is some way that he can rise to top of their society. If only he had even one slight connection to turn the prisoners from the path of vengeance.


History
"From Son of Terra-Rise to Lieutenant Overseer to Melancholy Man"

Theo is a TRAPPIST-1 baby. Earth is foreign to him. It was not until he gained the position of Lieutenant Overseer that Alfie ever graced the surface of the planet. His mother was apart of the original Vagabond crew, and it is no doubt in his mind now that she was also one of the first to be infected with the brain-eating amoeba that cripples the entire TRAPPIST-1 system. The rest of the Overseers may notice that Alfie has not been lamenting well. The worst part of his grief is his attempt to pretend as if he is not in fact weeping, and he does this by draining himself of any emotion. TRAPPIST-1 was all he knew, it was home to him. Alfie never witness old earth, he never saw what earth once was.

New earth is a dark place, yet it seems in his eyes the guardian of light is in fact Captain Thrax, holding the torch and lighting his path. Alfie's biological father, Calvin August, was apart of an anti-Collective terrorist organization known as Terra-Rise. They were not against space-colonization itself, but were in fact against a one-world government. These Terra-Rise terrorists believed that Collective colonization would result in the very thing they hated. Calvin acted as one of the original Vagabonds, because of this he did become romantic with Amelia Vanderbilt, thus she conceived Alfie. Calvin and Amelia were truly in love, so much so that Calvin indeed confessed to his affiliation with Terra-Rise, he admitted to deactivating tele-pads and sabotaging Collective carrier ships. Not only did he reveal his true identity, he begged her to join him, pleaded that he raise his son in a world free from Collective rule.

Obviously Amelia turned him in, accusing the man of treason. Calvin was a terrorist in her eyes, he was a liberator in his. Seen as a traitor, Calvin was made an example and was executed by firing squad. This happened all before Alfie was born, but when Amelia did eventually give birth to her son, she desired that her son be raised in strict discipline at Vagabond Colonist Academy. Here he was trained in survival to one day colonize just as his mother did. It was at the academy that Calvin met Thrax as the man gave a lecture on how to defend a colony and how to enforce order in that colony.

Thrax became his mentor five years before ever becoming Lieutenant Overseer. In fact Alfie partly thanked Thrax for the title, since he feels that Thrax had some say in getting Alfie there in the first place, especially with how young Alfie is.

Since the news of the aggressive decay, Alfie has not been his self. He is highly against joining Churchill society, and fears even going there for help. Though, the last message the Overseers received from the Collective before they deactivated the tele-pad and cut contact with them, was advice highly recommending that they conform to the very penal colony that they once ruled over. It is a much better option than trying to blend in with the Outsiders, for they already know the faces of the Overseers through their own supply of scouts.

But if Captain Thrax is taking Collective advice, then Alfie will obey his superior and fall in line.

Declan is a tad on the tall side, at 6'1, at least for a Muse. He has nothing compared to the blokes from Vanguard or the Overseers. His features are indistinct, the type of person from a family who didn't keep track, nor did they aim to breed with any particular race. His eyes are dark brown, warm in appearance. Hair is also dark brown and always purposely styled.

A trait he is known for is the elaborate and ever changing masks that he wears. Rarely wearing the same one twice, with the exception of 'holiday' masks that he wears 'traditionally'. His outfits are kept simple, although clean and looking new to the best of his ability.


Positive Traits:

  • Clever- While he isn't smart in the way that The Masterminds are, what he does know about, he know very well. Mostly about the value of desires and the power of addiction.
  • Talented- As with all Muses, he isn't without his share of talents in the artistic faction. He is, above all else, an entertainer and an actor. His sculpting and dancing aren't anything to sneer at either.
  • Hardworking- When he is dedicated to something, he will follow it where ever it might take him.
  • Clear Minded- Declan is able to see new situations from every angle and is generally open to new ideas that will help him reach his goals.


Negative Traits:

  • Narcissistic- At his very core, Declan wants to be looked at and admired. As a true actor, the attention of the crowed is his nector. He doesn't enjoy being around people, he needs them. This is also his downfall as he doesn't do anonymously and needs to be given credit for everything that he does. No matter how much better off everyone would be if he didn't.
  • Easily Offended- While he is open to everything and everyone, very small things can get people kicked to his shit list. Which is a place nobody wants to be.
  • Overly vengeful- People who end up on his shit-list don't tend to last very long. Even for small 'crimes' and 'offensives'.
  • Self Orientated - See Narcissistic trait. Even though he gives and gives, he expects your attention in return. He doesn't do well when someone is getting more attention than himself.


Personality Description
Declan is a charmer, with a strategy very similar to most psychopaths, he strives to make everyone he speaks to feel important and valued. After all, sugar catches more flies than vinegar. It is his power, to draw attention to others, and therefor, himself. If the whole room focuses on what he focuses on, then they lose focus just as easily when he does.

Despite this, he isn't strictly a bad person. He just has a very self-centered sense of right and wrong. Declan first, then the rest of the world. He doesn't agree with murder, but if someone is making things difficult, well...what must be done must be done. At his core, he is only human after all, and his actions are only that. You'll never see him playing the hero when there is a real threat towards him.

While he is prone to go after those who have offended him, he keeps it very personal. He always sees someone as an individual and never one to let his actions effect bystanders. Because of this mind set, he never uses family names when addressing someone, always their first, given name. Rarely nicknames unless they are a shorten form of the formal given name.


Quirks
  • Tactile- He always needs to be touching or holding something. Not that he fidgets, but always has something in hand. Unless there is a person nearby. The he'll naturally try to touch them, a hand shake, arm around the shoulder, or similar. Only a person who has a clear 'don't touch' aura would be able to put him off.
  • A like for the finer things- He is as posh as someone can be. He'd rather do with a few amazing bites of food than a large meal of 'okay' food. Granted, life has not really allowed him to be truly picky.
  • Raises eyebrows when offended- Most people never know that they've offended him. Really, the only sign he'll give is a flick of the eyebrow, into an almost concerned look, sometimes it is followed by a dismissal, but usually people are unaware till he seeks his vengeance.


Specialties
  • Master Sculpture- He isn't an artist with a brush, but with a chisel. Marble, glass, wood, all of it seems to bend itself to his will.
  • Actor- The trait of a muse, one that does him well in life.
  • Weever- Not of cloth (although he isn't half bad at that) no, of favors, bribes. He always knows just what to offer and what to withhold, in order to get what he wants.


Weaknesses
  • No sense of weaknesses- with being a bit of a narcissist, albeit a subtle one, he is totally unaware of his own short comings.
  • Not a fighter- In a head to head with males (and females) from the 'stronger' factions, he will lose. He tries to compensate be being more backstabby and subtle when he must fight. He isn't afraid to fight dirty.
  • Artistic Mind Set- Above all else, he is an artist. Coming with that, he does tend to become very focused on his art and nothing else when he is feeling 'inspired'.
  • Vain- Probably cares a tad too much about how he looks.

Secret(s)
Declan has a well hidden garden full of many plants he has gathered. Each has a different purpose and some are more benevolent, but there are plenty of recreational and deadly in there as well. Some of the plants are either not native to area or have gone extinct and he wants to be in control of the inventory.


Goal(s)
His goal throughout his life has always been the same. To be important, to be in control and, when he has passed, to be remembered. And, regardless of what type of dog pile occurs, he aims to be sitting somewhere towards the top.


History
Declan came from a very large, messy, family. His parents, along with most other people he grew up around, weren't big on monogamy. If you asked him, he had 6 brothers and sisters, and 14 half brothers and sisters, six of whom were his aunts as well, and 36 step brothers and sisters. His cousins and extended family looking much the same. People never staying together, but also never leaving. With so many people around, it was difficult to get attention, and one often had to go to great lengths to get it.

His family also had another reason for being so large and unreleasing. They were a large part of what was the equivalent of the 'Black Market'. They weren't so tied up in the war section of it all, although they did have friends in arms deals. They were more focused on the luxury of it. Obtaining rare herbs, medicines, the occasional body parts. Animal furs and unusual pets. Any thing some one wanted, his family had a way of getting. It also only stayed in the family. The only way out of the 'family business' was death. So even those who didn't deal strictly in the process or who had other interests were still kept close and 'encouraged' to use their talents to better the family in some other way. It was an almost fail safe method of keeping the family safe.

When a part of the family was discovered, they needed a scape goat and Declan drew the short straw. Or, rather, he was the only one who would be able to weave the lie needed to make sure that the family didn't get taken down with him. So he did, if only for the infamy that would follow him till death in the family.

Thus, he landed himself in the penal colony at the age of 24. He quickly found his calling in the Renaissance's and rose to the right-hand in just three short years. He follows under Iseabal MacGilios happily, never wanting the restrictions the top job would place on him. In fact, he already has is eye on four possible replacements of her should this marriage of hers start going south.

He met Iseabal on his travels to the penal colony and recognize her talent early. After the her run in with the Overseer, the two of banded together rose through the ranks of Muses until Iseabel challenged the Renaissance and won. Landing Declan a comfortable spot as her Right-Hand.

He is among the few to know how deep her madness truly runs and has been using some of the plants in his garden to mask her symptoms when it becomes necessary. Declan watches Is's up coming marriage with a cautious eye, content to watch it play out. For now.

A simple black hat rest upon his brow with a neckerchief around his neck he pulls up when he is riding. His eyes a steel blue, when he opens his coat three shining glints of metal can be seen a bullet pressed just above a marshals star indicting his position among the Vanguard. At his sides to nickel plated pearl gripped revolvers beauty in its most deadly form.

  • Polite- His manner of speech and behavior befit a man far above his station.
  • Friendly- A kind and caring man, he's the first to offer aid and the last to walk away from a friend.
  • Skilled rider- Their is no man of greater skill on horseback, he could hit a fly on the wall with a rifle as road past it.

Personality Description
Growing up on Earth after a failed attempt by a select group to collect key historical items and transport them to TRAPPIST-1. His father had been security and his mother a doctor, both survived an attack by the wasteland savages. Their young son was raised among the rubble of Earth, however he was also raised among the most important remains of human history. From some of the greatest films of all time, books from the greatest minds, and music from throughout the ages.

He grew up learning of firearms, his father preparing the boy to defend himself while his mother a music lover all her life taught the boy to play the piano. Both loved and cared for their son, that's why when tribal's uncovered their hide away they fled to draw the raiders away. Leaving a sixteen year old son with a hydroponic farm to mind and a small case of antique fire arms. So the boy turned to a man, he learned to ride a horse and draw first before you don't get to draw at all.

After the arrival of the penal colony in Churchill he saw his chance to go from outlaw to lawman, and was nearly killed by the Overseers upon first meeting. In took weeks to vet his DNA and prove without a doubt he was no savage. After that however his gifts of locations of major art, literature, and music made him a friend to Muse's and Masterminds. While his firearms knowledge, horse breaking skills, salvaging spots one him friends among the Vanguard. Lastly his lack of criminal record meant that Overseer's had a man they could depend on not to shoot them and leave him to police the colony while they were away.

  • He has a bad habit of tapping his finger on his pistol grip.
  • When bored he will draw and spin his pistols to amuse himself.
  • Gets antsy if he doesn't have something to be doing.

Reno is considered a legend and horror among the wastes, before he was twenty he killed a dozen men. By the time he moved into Churchill he responsible for near fifty deaths. No one knows in truth he was just as bad as savages, killing and stealing from the dead to survive.

His three goals for his future are simple. Discover his parents fate. Help to ensure peace between the factions. Lastly to settle down retire before he ends up finding someone quicker on the draw.


History
Reno remembers nothing of TRAPPIST system only his early days among the staff of old world reclamation initiative. They were a group of salvagers and sent to rescue important historical items, they even had a manifest of items and cleaning tools. However within three years of its founding the base was raided by natives, who killed majority of the staff. Survivors retreated away deeper into London, shuttles torched and most of the gear lost they had only the artifacts that's they had already saved. Jim Wylde was a security adviser seeing that they had no way out started to teach his son how to use guns.

As Reno grew older his gun training progressed while the survivors did the best they could to carry on without support. Sarah, Reno's mother began music lessons for the boy wanting to give him something as well knowing she might not be their for him one day. As the years passed the number of remaining survivors dwindled, some vanished while scavenging others went native. Until only Reno, Sarah, and Jim remained in the shelter hidden from terror of the wastes. Until Reno's sixteenth summer, raiders found the compound preparing to attack it Jim packed a buggy along with his wife. They would draw away the raiders and then returned for the young man, clutching an old shotgun to his chest he waited hour after hours, day after day. They did not return, so slowly he began to dress in cowboy like clothing that they had scavenged and antique guns his father had left.

Alone Reno began to walk through the dusty wastes, they molded him slowly from a scared young boy gunning down random scavengers for food and water into a hard riding quick pull trigger cowboy. What he learned, he learned the hard way and through movies the initiative had scavenged. About three years ago he arrived at Churchill baring gifts, and asking to speak to whoever was in charge. Overseers spent nearly a month or more vetting his DNA and story, however eventually they saw this as a blessing. Quickly instating him as marshal for the penal colony and allowing him to act as judge for crimes that occurred in there absence.

Agoston Gregory Szabó is practically everything you'd expect from an absent minded professor with a child's mind. Often spending time making corny jokes and laughing about them as if they were an hysterical and well-thought out jester entertaining a crowd. It's no wonder why he's seen as a goofy, odd man though is often seen as likable by anyone. His looks and charming behavior often gives off an aura of reassurance to those around him.

Though amiable, Szabó is anything but a social butterfly, often rather spending time in solitude than in the 'comfort' of a crowd. This a flaw the professor has come to accept for himself and many others around him do not both with emotional burdens though will still turn to him for advice as he is a psychologist as well after all. Nonetheless, Szabó could easily be described as a non-conformist, often not really caring to what people think about either his dusty appearance or his behavior. Szabó considers his anti-social behavior to one of the fueling powers for intelligence, as it helped him get this far anyway.

He is also by no surprise an intelligent man. After all: How else would he have such a position? Those who know him well are often capable of realizing that there are hardly any other people who would surpass his intellectual prowess, often not being capable of understanding what he sometimes is talking about and considering it to be obscure at times.


B I O G R A P H Y

Agoston Gregory Szabó was born in Budapest, Hungary on February 13, 1999 from a single mother who struggled through poverty in Józsefváros, a neighborhood which had a reputation of being a relic of history and a myriad of crime. There is to no doubt that the young Agoston grew up rough in comparison to other European university students, often growing up fighting among other children who themselves had a rough life. Agoston himself said he was never "truly bullied" but rather that he was "targeted", having to either defend either himself or his friends. Thus was the life of the young, soon-to-be professor. Fortunately, his mother Nora Szabó, was a naturally studious person and emphasized on the importance of his education, often pressuring him to strive to his best. Agoston believes to this day that his curiosity derives from the inheritance of his mother, but his intellectualism was nurtured by her.

At the age of five, Agoston was already noted for being intelligent as his reading level was at a fourth grade level and at the age of eight, it was already equivalent to a senior in high school. Being ahead of most students his own age made him the target to being picked on as Agoston spent time fending himself against bullies but also a myriad of friends. It was in the third grade when the fighting seized upon realizing that the young scientist was no push-over and thus the fights broke up almost altogether. At the age of nine, Agoston took an IQ test from MENSA to which he managed to score between the 155-160 range and it was from that moment that fourth grade would no longer be a good option for the young man. Agoston was then pushed to the fifth grade and was to be brought up another had it not been from his mother's intervention. Easily, the young boy could have been a child prodigy, a famous genius destined from birth to be a great mind to contribute to the world though for the sake of his social life, the mother forbade it and wanted Agoston to try a number of different things in life before coming to a decision.

Though the truth was so that her young son could grow up a normal life; having friends, - all to which were fond experiences that he would look on. All while the meantime, he progressed in school at an exponentially greater rate than his other classmates. At the age of twelve, what was left of his family moved to Manchester during the summer of 2010 in order to attend school. Knowing a bit of English already, Agoston had no issue fitting in and although he was in a foreign land, he was no stranger to conversation. Having little friends prior to him moving to Berlin already, the young man accepted his new home, even if he had feared he wouldn't before hand. In those few years of schooling, Agoston flourished into a normal teenager though younger than his peers, he was ultimately befriended by a handful of friends. Already he had a swell time in school, and took college math classes part time given he was almost light years ahead of his classmates. At the age of 16, Agoston graduated from high school equivalence in order to pursue his dreams even further.

Entering the intellectual life of a college student certainly was nerve racking for the young man, though would surly be mitigated on coming across similar like-minded individuals. Originally planning on majoring in Mathematics, Agoston then realized the diversity of education when taking other courses and already he was in love. Though pulling off multiple majors all before the age of 18 would be difficult, it was surly not the case for this motivated young man. Staying in school for several years helped him hone his intellectual prowess and already at the age of 22 had three masters degrees at Göttingen: Mathematics, Physics, and History. Agoston had succeeded in meeting the minimum requirements in what he wanted to do with his life. However, that again was not far enough for him when in 2023, the man had sold the show with his thesis paper when applying to a newer school and thus sold him entrance into the greatest technical school in the world: the California Institute of Technology.

This would later be as the professor described as the "height of his life" all the while his research and findings were becoming all the more popular in the science world. Being one of the most intelligent students in his previous campuses would surly make him stand out in this one. Though as time passed, humility had been obtained when Agoston was completely dumbfounded upon the realization of finding students who far-surpassed even him. For he had reeked the benefits of being profoundly intelligent without realizing that he was definitely not the most talented in academics. Nonetheless, he pursued his dreams and in 2025, Agoston had a myriad of degrees, three of which were STEM PhDs. Though after a few years passed, Agoston despite being well-liked throughout the academic world as a professor would later retire from such a job and search for something "un-ordinary" as he called it.

TRAPPIST-1 caught his attention, the thought of exploring into the depths of space was surly enough to satisfy his hunger to explore the outer reaches of intangible worlds. Since he had a child born from wedlock that had already had grown up to a be fine woman with a career that could make any other father proud, he didn't think twice before taking the job as essentially what he called a "librarian with a better paycheck". Though given time, the professor had been promoted to Victorian's Right-hand among the mastermind faction which had no other better qualities other than a few extra privileges that also included a better pay rate. Though there was something he loved about the job, the fact that despite the calamity that has struck mankind, he was one of few which would help preserve the highlights of mankind forever.

The clinic has to be spotless at all times, nothing is allowed to be put off to tomorrow and personal appearance is everything. Weak people or overly difficult people do not last very long on her team, as they are either reduced to tears daily or are simply bullied out. Which is why her team, with their minimal resources, far surpasses many better stocked areas.

For Thea, medicine is everything. While she isn't cruel, she doesn't sugar coat the situation. Nor does she worry much about what people feel.

History
[indent] Thea was one of three sisters, Freya and Gaia being the other two. All born to renown doctors, Olivia and Castor Jackson-Smith. Following in their parents foot step, all three sisters became doctors in their own rights.

While Freya and Gaia tended to practice medicine by the law, Thea always practiced by her own form of morals. During her early years, Thea practiced in areas that served the poor and the needy. Mostly women. Women who were handed things that they couldn't, or shouldn't handle.

On Earth, there had been so many children. So many unwanted. The unwanted would grow from unwanted children, to unwanted adults. What was the point on bringing something into the world that wasn't wanted. Women would come to her, begging to be ride of a child, some only a few weeks from birth. At first it was difficult, but the opportunity that it allowed those women more than outweighed any guilt she had.

It sped off from there. Being a doctor made her privy to information about people. Information around how many children they currently had. The state of those children. Some were doing good work, they had the proper amount. Others were merely breeding future problems. So she took it upon herself to stop men from being able to create children they wouldn't or couldn't care for. Removed imperfect children that would only hold society down and gave women a second chance at life.

Soon her actions caught up to her and she found herself in the colony. Soon after arriving she conceived a child that, by all accounts and her own doing, should have never been conceived. Yet he was. Despite everything she had done in her life, when it came down to it, Thea couldn't stand to be rid of him.

During her pregnancy, she was able to use her medical skills to climb her way through the masterminds ranks until she made herself a comfortable life as Master Physician. She took very little time off from her duties after giving birth and has a 'governess' for her soon that tends to him while she is working. Despite not spending a lot of time with her son, Oliver is the center of her world.

Belinda Drake- That is her true name, but it is not quite as charming as the name Carmen gave herself. Also, the meaning of both "Belinda" and "Drake" both hold meaning to the winged serpentine beast, the dragon. Not only did she decide a new name for the sake of leaving her past behind her, but she also preferred something that could hint to her alluring appearance, rather than something as fierce and dangerous as a dragon.


Nickname
"Carmen Comfort"- Yes, that is not her real name, but it is the only one anyone but her best friend knows her by. Carmen is fascinated by names, they hold such history to them. Thus she chose this newfound name for herself purposefully.

The name "Carmen" is so delicately feminine, and has quite the charm paired with the last name she selected. Carmen bears influence from Latin, as it means, "song."

"Comfort" is a rare English last name that also bears Latin origin in his earliest form, confortare, meaning "to strengthen greatly". It is also a derivative of fortis "strong".

    Yes, believe it or not but it is no coincidence that the name, "Belinda Drake", bears such close meaning to the dragon, the fire breathing beast. When first discovering this it comes as a big surprise to most that Carmen is not a vanguard, as her pyromania may come in handy. No, just as Carmen dug that past into the grave as did the name, "Belinda Drake".


Reputation
It is no secret to any who search, but Carmen is an information broker. Her fondness in Old Earth history has lead her to collecting the personal history of others, history that contains secrets valued like currency. In fact, even those who carry such a high rank, who believe their secrets are kept safe to themselves or the rare few that they have shared them with, are not as hidden as they may believe. Carmen has eyes everywhere, Karma Rogues, they are called. It is ironic that they have the word, "Karma" in their name, but often it is that many come to Carmen because they themselves have been blackmailed, looking for a way to get back at their blackmailer. What do Karma Rogues get in return for spewing the secrets of others? Often a secret for a secret is the way that Carmen deals business, unless she wants is more valuable than a secret. Those are special occurrences.

But other than her dealings as an information broker, there is no denying that Carmen is an attractive, charming young lady who is also known to be quite the flirt, with her best skills lying in her sweet charisma. Although, because of her tendencies be passive aggressive, she is known to be quite bitchy sometimes, especially with those she either sees competition with, or those that just don't rub the right way with her.

She is an ex-pyromaniac with very few scars from her past. However, yes, she does have scars from the flames, on her hands and wrists. She wears a pair of white laced gloves as an endeavor to cover those blemishes up. As for what she wears over her pale-night-crawler body, only on the most special of occasions does Carmen dress in her deep blue Victorian gown. It is also only when she wears that formal gown that Carmen is draped, like a cape, with England's flag.

But away from formal occasions, Carmen is fashioned with a slimming white laced dress, as her blonde hair is let down and loose, mirroring that carefree attitude of hers.

  • Free-spirited- Anyone who has met Carmen knows that she never lets herself be restricted by the opinions of others. She does not hold back her own happiness as Carmen is known to always keep her cool, using the phrase, "Ah chill out, it's not a big deal." She focuses her life on fun, some may call that irresponsible, but Carmen calls it being "free-spirited".
  • Charming- Aside from being naturally attractive due to such a gorgeous appearance, Carmen is not only romantic, but also spontaneous. She can be sweet, yet also aggressive in her own way. She is the type of her girl who sprouts jealousy in other women.
  • Faithful- Ironically, even though Carmen in known to be quite the flirt, deep down she goes no farther than seductive flattery and sweet talk. Because flirtatious rhetoric and charming manipulation is all she needs to excel as an information broker. There is no need to sleep around when all it takes is the decisive strategy of delicate words. Besides, everyone knows she is holding back for a special someone, a secret lover who has yet to come out of the dark of the night.

  • Passive Aggressive- When Carmen does not like a certain someone, Carmen does not openly insult him or her, rather she pisses off that person off but in a way where she can save herself by saying, "Oh so sorry... Didn't realize that offends you."
  • Fake- Being the youngest leader of what is known to be the "smartest" faction, Carmen can not spare the moment to fall apart. It seems everyone sees her as the dopey young girl who ironically rules over the masterminds because she gossips at a price. But for some, it is not quite so easy to be yourself, not when someone you love is at stake.
  • Manipulative- And the scariest part of her manipulative nature, is that Carmen is quite talented at deceptive persuasion, just as she is masterful at pretending to be the happy carefree person she is not. While being genuine, sincere, and real, lies are sprinkled in. Funny how it is always the small things that get people.


Personality Description
Carmen is a very social creature, even to her foes. Although, if she does interact with an enemy of hers, it is a very passive aggressive conversation. And she often dislikes others simply because she sees them as her competition, a rival. She enjoys doing every slightest thing to annoy them, be a biting pest to them. However, if you are on her good side, well then Carmen is an absolute joy to party with. Because she is spontaneous, she does not care what others think. Yes, her free-spirited personality has led to the downfall of being irresponsible, but Carmen is smart enough to know when her carelessness is draining out too much of her faction's funds.

Though, perhaps the greatest negative to Carmen's nature, is that she can be quite deceptive, and manipulative. But there are times when she can be genuine, especially if she makes the extra effort to speak to you in private. For once alone, away from eyes and ears, then that is a rare moment in which she spills her secrets, rather than selling off the dark past of someone else.

One last thing about Carmen that some may notice about her, if they choose to try and understand her, she is a naive girl who fantasizes about love. She is a hopeless romantic, hoping that one day the father of her two year son will escape the complicated situation he is, even if that means he has to suffer to be with her. She wants unconditional love, as she would suffer for him also.

  • Skips everywhere- Carmen has a very bouncy walk, as she is often seen skipping around everywhere like a joyous schoolgirl.
  • Loves/Collects Board Games- Even board games take strategy in order to finish victoriously. Carmen finds them as good mental exercise, building her up to be a more strategic leader. After one game with Carmen, anyone would notice how truly competitive she can be. Although it does annoy her when scavenged board games do not have all of their pieces.
  • Writing History- Ever since Carmen was the apprentice of the Master Historian, she has always been a little obsessed with history, whether that be learning about Old Earth, or recording Churchill's history. She has been writing in a journal of hers, she does not know for sure whether or not it will be read in the future. But, it is a fun exercise for her, writing history from her perspective and bias.
  • Hopeless Romantic- As a hopeless romantic, Carmen enjoys another hobby of hers, reading some romantic classic literature, whether that be Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, the many romantic plays by Shakespeare, or even poetry by Pablo Neruda.

  • Party Animal- Now, Carmen does not party all the time, but when she does, she is not mercifully when it comes to cutting at the mastermind funds. She is fortunate that no mastermind would try to challenge her when likely she would retaliate with a bit of blackmail.
  • Overly Attached- Carmen would do anything for that lover in the shadows, even if the reason why he remains to be kept a secret is because he prefers to hide from her.
  • Heart Over Head- "No matter the situation, never shall I let my emotions overpower my intelligence, my logic," that is a quote from the mastermind creed, it is ironic how the Victorian contradicts this. She would never admit it, but it is true, she would choose her heart over her head.

  • England's Flag- First off, they are in London, Carmen couldn't think of a better decision than to chose a flag that truly makes her feel like a queen. Also, she is the Victorian, why not chose the nation that the Victorian era originated from?
  • Crossbody Bag- Yes, it was a bit expensive to barter for this pebble grain leather purse, but because she makes frequent use of it, Carmen believes that it was worth it.
  • A vial of snake venom- Though Carmen has an exotic collection of poisons and toxins hidden in her office. She only keeps one vial of snake venom in her purse, hidden behind the inner covering of the bag. She does this in fear that she may poison herself if she were to carry anymore vials. This venom is from the Death Adder snake, a snake that actually hunts and kills other snakes. Its venom causes paralysis and can cause death within 6 hours, due to respiratory failure.


Fears
  • Loneliness- Carmen's greatest fear is to be completely isolated from everyone, from her secret lover and from her son, that would truly be torture for Carmen. She would prefer exile than solitary confinement, because at least then she has the chance of company outside of Churchill's walls.
  • The Death of Her Son's Father- Carmen is obsessed with this mystery man. If she could save his life by losing her head, she would let it be so. Heart over head.
  • Losing her son- Carmen might appear irresponsible, and it is true, but not with her son. She already regrets not spending enough time with her because of her duty as the Victorian. Also, she fears that she could very well lose him, she walks a dangerous road as an information broker, her enemies could easily threaten her son.


Secret(s)
Faceless Father- He is not faceless to her, no she is very familiar with his ever naked feature, yet it is only her who knows of him. Even his son, her son, does not know his father.

Her Name- she has never told anyone but her secret lover and the Master Physician her real name, Belinda Drake. Although it being her records, the other Overseers may know if they searched and read her files.

Pyromaniac- No, Carmen is not an active arsonist, but sometimes she wonders if she would ever give it a real try. When she watches a flame dance upon the wick of a candle, feeling its heat, she thinks of her brothers, it reminds her of family.


Goal(s)
Soulmates- Yes, Carmen not only desires, she believes that one day she will be with that secret lover of hers. Even if everyone doubted her relevant to his circumstance, she will find a way to be a involved. Even that means she revealing his face. In fact, she does not want to keep it a secret, but it's... complicated.


History
"From Enraged Ex-girlfriend to Victorian to a Hopeless Romantic"

Comfort, Carmen, it means, "Strong Song." But more than that, to her it means a new beginning.

Belinda Drake was not raised by a mother or father, but by three older brothers, Atlas, Ulysses, and Calix. The three boys were triplets, all handsome and blonde with fair skin just like their sister, Belinda. Now, the Drake family was not apart of any anti-Collective terrorist groups, not since their parents' execution. The fatherless, motherless, children were loyal to that Collective coin, to whoever was paying for their destructive services. They have worked for terrorist organizations, mob bosses, or even the rare disgruntled ex-girlfriend.

Belinda was never one to start the fires. Instead, the little sister was in charge of providing the smuggled supplies and equipment. She did not have much experience when it came to be an arsonist, since that was the job of her brothers. However, Belinda did set one fire...

She was one of those disgruntled ex-girlfriends, except she was not quite professional like her brothers when it came to the fire. No, because she felt this was personal. His name was Nathaniel Frye, he cheated on her, and Belinda did not take this lightly. She had already grown suspicious of Nathan's unfaithfulness after she had confessed to him what she did for a living. After some stalking, her suspicious became a reality. So, with a cheap purchase of gasoline, Belinda set ablaze the bar Nathan was bartending at. Eventually, Belinda pleaded guilty to forty-eight charges of murder and aggravated arson. Thus after so, she was sentenced to life in a penal colony, the New Earth colony of Churchill.

When Carmen arrived to Churchill, she already made it up in her mind that she was going to become a mastermind. Although she could have pursued a rank within the vanguards, too many of their rowdy soldiers reminded her of her brothers. Every time she thought of them, she missed them, it hurt her to know that she will never seen them again. And besides, Carmen knew that they would find the most use in her experience of working in an the business of arson. No she wanted something different, a new beginning and a new identity.

She went under an apprenticeship to the Master Historian, Ariana Holtman. Holtman would sent her own to go scavenge artifacts with the vanguard pickers. Because so, Carmen became very close to the vanguard faction as the Master Historian's apprentice. But it was because of her secret's lover influence that she was convinced to challenge the current Victorian for that spot on the top. All she had to do was win one game of chess.

Ever since first joining the masterminds, she was always sharpening up her mind with strategy and board games. Everyday she would go to the mastermind library just to play a couple games of chess. Therefore by the time she did prove to be an opponent to the Victorian, she was confident, confident to finally show that she was not some naive dopey girl.

And yet, she is determined to do that now, when the time calls for it.

After entering the colony, there are a few that tried to question his knowledge in the Mastermind faction. But any attempt is being swept through like a F6 tornado during 2044. Vlad is a tall, but a little bit thin. He always comes to other as a man in a long black coat, and covering his face with a bird-like mask. Personality Description
Vladimir von Wolfgang is a serious person. He dislikes the happiness in the atmosphere, the smile of someone because they receive something that he don't. To him, silent is the best tool to bring, the best to use, and the best to work with. In his room, or his hospital that he used to work, Vlad demand each and every employees under him to be silent at all time. For him, listening to the sound of silence, is the best thing that the new world could offer. And all that dared to interupt him and his silence moment, should have a better reason for doing so.

Maybe, one of the worst thing that Vladimir can think of himself without even thinking for a second is his nature to think everything will be heading to the worst possible outcome. To him, even if there is a chance of a person going to kill him, then every preparation is necessary. Although this has help him to survive in these chaotic days, his mind has never relax since the day the disease took his parents.

Secret:
Vlad wonder this question everyday: "Why do I do this? Following the path of the disease. I could just have settle somewhere, starting my own family." But then Vlad realize the answer that he never think of: "Maybe, the one that I love is the idea of death, and the aspects that it will provide. It's fascinating, complex, and never ending. And maybe, just maybe, I will meet him or her or it personally someday.


Goal:
Vlad plans to find the true answer for his deepest question for mankind: " Who are we? Why were we here? And what is our position in the past, the present, and future in the galaxy or this whole universe? "


History
Vladimir von Wolfgang was born in Berlin, Germany on 1st of May, 2033 in a family whose tradition were being doctors. As a child, the young Vladimir's dream was to travel the whole world then traveled to the TRAPPIST system. But because of the 2044, Vladimir's family had to evacute to German's goverment controlled camps. Life in those area was harsh, but everyone had a place to live in this chaos event. For the first few month after the 2044 event, everyday was cleaning the black snow raining from the skies. But except for that, everything seem to return to normal, and little Vladimir continued his study. Due to Vladimir's talent, he was graduated from the University of Munich in the age of sixteen. He worked for the hospital which his parents were leading.

But it was all before the Plague happened. On 19th of August 2049, a patient appared with symptoms include: headache, fever, cough. Through inspection, the patients was first thought to be having somekind of flu and fever. So the pharmacy technician gave him some normal drug. But for about three to four days later, the police found the patient was dead, blood still spilling into the drain. A few days later, three patients show up with the same symptoms as the first. The next, ten patients. A week, five hundread and twenty five patients. A month, half the camp is infected. Chaos now rises every in the camp. Through radio, other camps also show the same situtation was happening. In one and a half month, the disease now kill more than half of the surviving population of Germany. Now, people just fell down like tree being cut down. The corpse stack as high as tower, the fire ran all days and night, but the diseases still spread. Vlad himself watched his parents' corpses being burnt into ashes, and left the camp, following the trails of the disease.

The trail of the disease had lead Vlad to many old cities, ruins of the old glorious days. Until one day, Vlad heard a rumor about a colony somewhere London. Maybe it was time for Vlad to start something new, to help other, to find a job. Or maybe just do his best: following, studying, and researching. But for whatever Vlad is going to do in the future, will be decide by those that live there.
