Short interest check. Anyone looking to join a mid to high casual level sci-fi/adventure/exploration/ship combat/alien life integrated/action packed roleplay about intergalactic war, cosmic treasure, ancient alien prophesies, and more space related goodies? Inspiration taken from anime, games, and tv. (tenchi muyo, gurren lagann, cowboy beebop, star citizen, wildstar, star trek, etc.) Fly your own ship or be a part of a crew and travel across the galaxy while avoiding the many threats presented to you. Stopping off at the occasional space station or planet to pick up missions, information, or new crew members. Enrolling pirates, soldiers, bounty hunters, or if you just wanna fly, freelancers. Or, if you have ideas for some random alien species with a random alien profession, that's most likely fine too. I like to pair my roleplays with lots of interesting artworks and music I find online (like the ones above) to help immerse everyone into the experience. All interest is appreciated. This might be something I'm interested in! Will you have a list of aliens/species we can be? I'm not really interested if it's gonna be like a free for all where it's species from Star Wars mixed with Star Trek and so on. I'd much prefer something with maybe original races or just nothing particularly known famously.

@SmallTownNerdThere are only 3 predetermined species with the roeplay being open to anything anyone can think of as long as it's original. I'm not going to be allowing wookies or klingons. All alien characters should be original and explained, though I don't mind the occasional artwork from a game or series that's pre-established considering not everyone can draw very good.

I strongly suggest you dont make a SPACE sandbox RP. everyone will end up flying their own space ships on opposite corners of the galaxy with no interaction. what about if we all start as graduates of some space academy and we are all assigned on the same ship, and then once we reach a certain rank, we can transfer, or become more specialized?

@Infamous EmpathSpace sandbox? God no. There's a very specific plot and an eventual ending potentially. Everyone is going to be kept in relative sync. On top of that, there will be a character limit of 5, so people can always have a character both inside, and outside of the main group/groups if they choose. In any case, you'll all end up in the same place during most important events anyway. Plus my masterful use of NPC's should help heard everyone.

@Infamous EmpathThere's going to be 4 main ships. They will either be piloted by either main npcs or players. There will also be a few solo ships with the inevitable goal of those players being recruited to one of the mains. (big ships have hangars for fighters or corvettes usually.)
