Sebastian snorted. "If that works for you. Just try t' keep the place clean, then." He groomed his ears, making sure they were sleek and spotless. "Man, I like going out into the wilds, but whenever I come back I feel so dirty. That ever happen to you?" When he was outdoors, though, he could be caked in mud and not notice. Why was that?

"My feathers are kind of... dirt resistant, in a way? So I don't get dirty easily. Maybe it's because inside it's a lot cleaner than outside?" She shrugged, "I like the air out in the forests. It's a lot cleaner."

*AWKWARD TRANSITION*

Ethan opened his eyes and immediately reached out for something solid. He flailed for a moment, only feeling the air. Then he heard a sound, pain, the table - his arm had hit the table. He violently grabbed hold of it as his chair rocked under his erratic movements. Deep breath. He was alive. At least, for the moment.

Ethan cursed himself. He hated sleeping. It was always a terrifying ordeal. But it had been an accident this time. An accident. He needed to gain better control of himself, because accidents have the same consequences as not. Deep breath again. He was still alive.

Daya's head snapped to the direction of a loud 'bang'. "Ethan, you okay?" She asked, getting out of her chair. The loud sound made her feathers bristle, giving her a bigger appearance. "It's okay, you're just at the DHHQ. You were asleep for a long time, by the way. Does that happen every time you use magic?"

Ethan coughed and cleared his throat, still clutching the table tightly. "What?" What was she talking about? The last time he was awake felt years ago. He couldn't have slept that long, could he? Sweat formed on his forehead. She said he was out a long time. How long?

"You've been asleep for.. twenty hours, I think? Since we got back?" Daya sat back down, seeing he was okay. "If you're hungry, I brought some food up from the bar." She looked at the plate of food (You choose what kind). "It might be cold, though."

Ethan forced himself to let go of the table. He felt weightless without it, floating in an endless void. He swallowed and tried to breathe. He. Was. Fine.

"Th- thank you." He needed to say it twice; his voice wouldn't come out at first. Ethan didn't look at the plate of food or at either of his teammates. "Did- um, what happened? Did we com- complete the mission?"

Daya leaned back in her chair, sighing. "So, Sebastian, when's the next mission?" She asked, glancing over in his direction.

Ethan got up and grabbed a cup, but didn't know what to do with it afterwards. "The basin isn't for drinking," he realized, and just stood there, holding his cup.

"We should rest," Sebastian said. "We have enough money for a few weeks, so we don't need to do anything for a while. I'd still like to, though."

Tail swishing, Sebastian deftly picked up Ethan and put him in a chair, much to Ethan's surprise and discomfort. "Perfect!" he exclaimed, sitting down himself. "How should we start?"

"Oh, we're doing this right now?" Daya sat up, leaving her calves alone. "We could tell each other our full names? I mean, if they weren't on the paper we got when we first found out who was in the team." She suggested. "Or, we could tell each other about.." She paused for a moment, trying to think. "We could tell each other about our lives, or something?"

Sebastian bit the corner of his mouth. He didn't want to seem eager to talk about himself, but he thought he might as well. Both Daya and Ethan seemed reluctant, so if Sebastian went first, perhaps that would encourage them to open up as well.

"Well, my name is Sebastian. I don't have a middle or last name, since I'm an orphan, 'n I was never adopted. I lived in Sector 12, like most other hybrids, until I made enough money to move into Sector 3. I used't' want to be a doctor, but now that I'm here, I'm glad that I chose to be a Demon Hunter."

He thought that was sufficient enough, and looked to the other two to see whether they were willing to share.

Daya nodded, and assumed it was her turn. "My full name is Daya Faren Alloi, and I currently live in sector three as well. When I was younger I didn't really want to be anything else but a demon hunter, so yeah. My parents live in sector three too, and I visit them often. I have a brother, but he lives in sector eleven, so I don't see him very often. Ethan?" She looked over at Ethan, waiting to hear about his life before becoming a demon hunter.

Ethan looked unwilling, and he hesitated a while. "I'm Ethan Moznet Onyleo," he said carefully, hoping that neither of them would recognize the name. He'd considered lying, but if they were determined enough, he'd be caught, and look even more suspicious. "My parents are both... doctors. My brother's in the military. I graduated school early and went to train as a DH."

"Okay.. do you guys wanna talk about your best friends or something?" Daya shrugged, trying to find something to talk about. "Sorry, I'm not good at finding things to discuss." She rubbed her feathered face, messing up the feathers and making her face look weird.
