GrantGrant sat in his apartment, his gear set on the wall in front of him, framed by a single picture of his brother, Mason. The boy thought of the last six months, of the arrival of the new valkorians, of the Sentinels. They were the new favorites of the city, having crushed the Titans in a single encounter, the likes of which was an astounding defeat. He neither cared nor pretended to care. Revenge was his only purpose, his sole driving force. He would not, COULD NOT rest until Jilocasin was in the ground. The Titans though....In the last few months, they had shown an increasingly desperate tone, focused on regaining what they had lost. He thought about Jilocasin, the man responsible for his brother's death, The man he HAD To kill. Alone, he had no chance against him, but with the resources of the Titans.... Donning the half mask that only covered his mouth, nose and neck, and arming himself with a gun, combat knife and sword-Sensing someone else's presence, he sliced the katana behind him, only for solid steel to be met by a wall of blue energy. "Sable. You of all people should know not to sneak up on me. I can't lose another sibling."
Sable reminisced, as she backtracked to two months go, she had been off with the Blue Lantern Corps, spreading hope through the galaxy wherever it was needed. She had been fighting alongside St.Walker for some time, her skills in wielding the power of hope had greatly enhanced, she learned that she could heal others with their power. There were many times she had been homesick, the universe didn't exactly have collect calls or a mail address. She truly missed her family, the Titans, her brother, her only living brother, the lanterns had always been there for her. Still though she knew he'd be proud of her, she was fighting strong. Her hope brought forth the downfall of a red lantern incursion, while the others struggled to fight against the full powered embodiment of rage, she alone stood within her the central power battery. A light blue fire-like aura around her and her eyes were a burning light blaze of blue, in a powerful burst of energy she drove the extinguished their hate and through time they were converted into vessels of hope. With permission from Walker she was allowed to leave, her dedication to the corps was unlike any other he had known. The young earth lantern was snapped out of her daydream when she impulsively created a light blue barrier to protect himself from her brother's weapon. "Grant, I'm careful...enough..." She said, she had been a lot more mature, her tone of voice had long since changed, making her sound much older which in fact she had, she had turned 17 during those two months. She crossed her arms and looked toward him, her ring had glowed brightly, her powerful sense of hope was always present, hope for a better future, one that didn't require her, hope that Mason was at peace. "Ah, so did you hear about this Sentinel group? Who are they exactly?" She asked Grant, her barrier fading after she asked her question.
