I meant that if the emperor was married, my second character would be related to his wife. And it doesn't even have to be a close relation, it could be her uncle or something like that. Though it entirely depends whether the emperor is married or not(or if [@Letter Bee] allows it), if not, then I'll make him one of the few nobles who was on the emperor's side rather than oppose him(because of his own agenda of course).
